Responsive and efficient

My grinder had stopped functioning properly and I was very impressed with the quick action I got from Sage. The Customer Service team responded with advice on how to fix the problem first of all and then arranged for collection, repair and return without fuss and keeping me informed at each stage of the process. Aftercare is shocking, and personally the guarantee seems worthless

Bought a Sage toaster, faulty in under 18 months. Painful customer service process and difficult to deal with. They became difficult when I wouldn't provide lots of personal details in advance of them agreeing to do anything with my faulty machine. If they were not happy with how the (faulty) product arrived then 'they will undertake a thorough investigation' but they don't say what happens with getting the replacement for the faulty product you have sent them, or confirm that you will get your replacement, having posted them your paid for toaster! For the price you'd expect it to last longer than an argos special, or have decent customer care. Fur coat and no unmentionables, and not a brand i'd buy from again. My most reliable source of sorting this out is now the retailer, as the brand itself seems like its set for issues in trying to get a working replacement
