Lack of Communication and Incompetence

On 24th February,2022, I ordered a recline chair and paid a deposit of £462.38. I was not advised that this deposit was non-returnable. Due to unforseen circumstances, I cancelled the order within 14 days. I was then informed that my deposit would not be refunded. I then decided to go ahead, rather than lose said deposit. I was given a delivery date of 15/3/22. On 14/3/22 I telephoned the Company for confirmation of delivery. I was informed that delivery was delayed until 24thMarch. Onthe latter date I have a hospital appt. which I have waited three months for. What really annoyed me, was the total lack of communication, in that nobody had bothered to inform me of the changed delivery date. I then decided to cancel , rather than have further dealings with said Company, Robert Banks

Excellent recliner chair

My recliner chair, Parma Riser Recliner in brown leather, was delivered Thursday 17 March at exactly the time agreed with the delivery/installation team. The installation, instruction and demonstration process was excellent and the old chair was removed as promised with no fuss whatsoever. My whole experience with the company, from my first telephone call to delivery was excellent. There was no 'faff' at all and no pressure selling etc. Bradley Jordan, the company's Representative, arrived exactly on time and explained everything perfectly including a demonstration with the chair he brought. He did an excellent re-cap when he revisited to complete the sale. I am extremely happy with the chair and would be more than happy to recommend it, the company and their representatives to anyone in the future.

Adjustable massage bed.

Just over a year ago my 82 year old mum bought an adjustable bed from this company. A very nice, extremely persuasive salesman visited her at home with a demonstration model. Mum had a friend with her who was interested in a similar bed. The price of the bed was £2,000. Very quickly it became apparent that the bed didn’t work properly. The motor kept tripping and an engineer came out. He advised my elderly, frail mother that the mattress on this bed would require turning once a month. This information was not in any of the paperwork nor was it mentioned by the snake oil salesman. When we called the company we were fobbed off with the excuse ‘all mattresses need to be turned” - which is false. These types of beds are marketed towards those with health and/or mobility issues. I would think having to manhandle the mattress on a regular basis would have been made very clear at the point of sale. Here we are just over one year later and the massage element has stopped working. Of course the bed is now out of warranty. What a disgrace! The company (Now answering the phone as ‘Kingdom Corp’) have refused to do anything other than send out an engineer to replace the massage unit at a cost in the region of £400. Bear in mind this is a £2000 bed that is 13 months old and has only been used by a tiny 82 year old woman. Disgraceful. I have spoken to the firm myself and just got a sanctimonious, patronising salesman whose attitude was basically ‘tough luck’. My advice, and that if my mum is - go to Dreams, better service and better quality adjustable beds.

Early delivery

The delivery of the chair after 3.5 weeks of placing the order. Unfortunately it arrived without arm covers or head cushion and I am still waiting for these to arrive. Darren & Glyn delivered the chair and they quickly removed the old chair, set up the new chair and explained its operation in detail. The salesman, Mike, and the delivery team of Darren and Glyn were very polite and friendly and gave good detailed presentations. The whole experience of obtaining a new chair was very pleasant ending up with a very comfortable chair.

We had a brilliant rep from The Recliner Factory today, Bradley Jordan. Bradley initially called with my father after arranging an appointment. I (daughter) was unable to attend at that time but Brad had no trouble in coming back within a couple of hours to ensure we were able to discuss all aspects of the Chair we wanted to discuss. Brad talked us through every part of the chair what to expect and what would best suit my dad for his particular needs. This chair really will give my dad a better way of life and I belive Brad went out of his way to meet every expectation we had. Thank you Brad we can't wait for the chair to arrive :) Becci and Lyn.

My new Riser & Recliner Chair

I received my new riser recliner chair today. So much sooner than expected. Very pleased with it. Both Andy and Brian were very helpful & patient. I was given a demonstration on how to operate my new chair. I was very reassured to know that I could contact them at anytime should I have a problem. Brilliant service from Andy and Pete

Brilliant service from Andy and Pete, arrived on time and very efficiently brought chairs in, assembled them, added the extras placed them in position and then checked us for size with our chairs and then gave us a run through of how to operate etc. They were very helpful and polite, nothing too much trouble, a credit to the company
