Really hard to cancel
Real products, but they run the cancellation process illegaly like a scam. I have filled out multiple forms with the chat to cancel. Now it tells me to call the phone number later. I wanted to cancel last week, now I am stuck with another order. It is really really hard to cancel, which they made laws against last year. They need to update that asap!
Way too expensive and surprise charges
The product worked okay but they make it impossible to cancel your subscription - if you're tight on money and can't have surprise charges even after you've cancelled your subscription - do not sign up for happy head. I'm pretty sure it's illegal to make it more difficult to cancel a subscription than to sign up for a service and they are absolutely all about making it difficult to cancel.

Vill provided great customer service! Like many reviewers have noted, Happy Head makes it as difficult and inconvenient as possible to cancel your subscription—for that, it gets zero stars. But I get it. A lot of companies do this, literally “banking” on laziness. But I was determined to cancel, so I bit the bullet and called customer service. Vill helped me out, and while he pushed all options short of cancellation, he wasn’t too pushy and was very respectful of me and my time, cancelling my subscriptions in (relatively) short order. For that he (not Happy Head) gets 5 stars!

No reputable company does business this way
This company provides no way to cancel recurring shipments online. They do everything they can to prevent you from cancelling subscriptions. If you try to cancel online it redirects you to chat which redirects to email which is ignored. If you are actually able to contact them (we were able to chat with a representative several months ago), be sure to keep a paper trail. The representative we chatted with said future orders were cancelled, but they are still shipping product and charging our credit card! Now we have no paper trail to dispute, and they are ducking all attempts to cancel. This time we are going to keep a paper trail and dispute with our credit card company. No reputable company does business this way. You have been warned!

I’m a 34YO woman experiencing thinning hair and I’ve been using Happy Head for around six months. My initial prescription was oral medication, a combination of minoxidil and spironolactone. It worked well, however I had a *lot* of excess hair growth on the back of my neck, my lower back, and face. Basically, my blonde peach fuzz started growing so fast and more densely and I couldn’t keep up with dermaplaning my face and using Nair on my neck and back frequently enough. My dermatologist had warned me in the past of this side effect and advised I try topical minoxidil if I had that effect. You do have to call to cancel, which I did. The person who helped me, Zarah, was able to switch me to Happy Head’s topical treatment and also offered a discount for my next few orders. It was a super easy resolution.
