I have been using Home & Business since its inception. Every year I update with the latest version now 2023. It is easy to use for small businesses and home finance. However, US Quotes are not updated automatically and have to update manually. Reckon has not corrected this malfunction for many years.

As a reseller

As a reseller, we dont make much in software . However we do lots of support to clients when they have issue in Reckon. But Reckon Customer Service always contact clients directly and bypass us as reseller! Too unethical

Reckon locked all users out of their…

Reckon locked all users out of their on-line hosted accounts because of unidentified hacking over the Christmas New Year break, without any warning whatsoever. They required users to reset a new username, using a registered email address. I have been using the system for over 10 years and have no idea what the registered email address was and none of my current or old emails work. When I tried to use phone support to get a new user name they refused to because they couldn't verify me and rudely dismissed me. This is outrageous, I'm locked out of my entire accounting system with no way to get in, basically being punished for being a long standing customer. This is a problem entirely of Reckon's making and their solve for it is completely customer unfriendly. Extremely unsatisfactory when they have been entrusted with something as important as my accounts. Do not under any circumstances use this system, if you do be prepared for extremely bad customer service.
