Either scam or extremely poor at running a business

Placed an order on the 6th of October 22. My order hasn't arrived yet. I left multiple messages via the website contact form, sent emails (bounced back because their inbox was full), called and was promised a call back (which I never received). To this day I haven't got my order or my money back and haven't got a response from the company.

AVOID THIS OUTFIT AT ANY COST OR DON'T SAY I DID NOT WARN YOU - They also are the Stickystore.co.uk company as well. I ordered 10 x Tape dispensers - Showing as in stock and next day delivery - weeks went by and nothing turned up - so I emailed them and no response. 3rd email I finally get a shipping notice for the 10 items ordered. Only 6 turned up and on one of them the box is tattered and taped up - you can hardly give it as a gift as it looks like it is used! So one of them needs to go back. (Actually I opened it and it was BROKEN - the units are filled with rubble to weight them down and as it was broken all the dust was coming out and the bag was sellotaped up to stop it leaking - so obviously it was pretty damned obvious and they tried to palm this off on me and send me 5 short after taking my money with no email or explanation!) I called them FOUR times over the past 10 days and they nicely tell me they will return my call - and they have not - I just called them and they said we cannot do anything we just answer the phone we can just relay your messages - well 3 emails and 4 phone calls and not a response. So I need a refund on 5 of these items, one of which needs to be returned or thrown in the bin as it is broken- but I am not paying for their incompetence - so they can collect it. I just called them and the guy on the phone said he could do nothing all - all he could do was answer the phone and pass on the messages! Well I just did a chargeback with Paypal - and bought the remainder elsewhere. These people are NOT WORTH THE GRIEF! They either cannot count or are just useless and they will not return a phone call or even an email. Common Courtesy and customer service COSTS ZERO! QUICK TO TAKE YOUR MONEY AND SLOW TO DO ANYTHING ELSE - They give Swansea a really bad name! Well PayPal must know what they are like - they refunded the missing items in minutes - Thank you PayPal- 5 stars! To add to this - one of the units - the box was in tatters and the unit was broken and held in a bag with sellotape - I cannot believe they sent this and tried to pass it off as new - it was clearly damaged and not fit for purpose - All the markings of a business in trouble. Taking your money and not shipping it all and not calling you back or answering your emails. ***** AVOID AT ALL COSTS IS MY ADVICE *****

SINCE I WTOTE THE FOLLOWING REVIEW, JAMES THE OWNER OF THE BUSINESS, CONTACTED ME DIRECTLY. HE OFFERED A FULL SND SINCERE APOLOGY. HE FULFILLED MY ORDER, AND SENT SOME EXTRA HOOKS FOR FREE BY WAY OF AN APOLOGY. JAMES ASSURED ME THAT THE ISSUES WILL BE ADDRESSED WITH HIS TEAM. AS A RESULT, I HAVE INCREASED MY REVIEW FROM A 1* TO A 3*. ORIGINAL 1* REVIEW: I paid £30 for 3 multipacks of command hooks, but only received 3 individual hooks. I should actually have received 12 hooks in total. I phoned The Sticky Store 3 times, and each time I was told that someone would call me back, that they can't transfer calls & that there are no other staff available to speak to. Surprisingly (not!) nobody called me back. I also left 2 voicemail messages for SSUK, but no-one called me back either. I then used the SSUK chat bot service, they said 'sorry to hear that, we are too busy to help' and then they ended the chat. I will have to get a refund via PayPal. This company is untrustworthy and it clearly treats customers with contempt. It took money from me, then failed to provide what I paid for, and is now ignoring me.

The worst company in Swansea…

I placed an order on September 24th and the payment was taken immediately. On October 5th I was still waiting for the goods to be despatched. I tried the chat option on their website but this was ignored. So was my email of the same day. On October 6th I both tried the website and emailed again. I got nowhere so rang and the person answering the phone said he would get customer services on to it straight away. They did not call back On October 7th I did all the same things again and when I called them I asked to speak to the customer services manager and was told they did not put calls through to employees and all I could do was to leave a message. I pointed out that I had done this already and had the phone put down on me. Shortly aft\er this I received an email from somebody called James saying he was very sorry and would ring the courier and be back to me within 2 hours I did not really believe this as the website clearly had the order as not shipped. This was around 10.30 and by 4pm no answer - what a surprise! I emailed again saying that I needed an answer by end of day or a refund. I am still awaiting a reply. Advice to all avoid this bunch

Machine translations at human prices

This company is selling machine translation at human translation prices. If you actually speak the language natively you'll understand this when you see translations for words like "Sign up" directly converted into phonetic foreign borrow words like サインアップする instead of the natural and correct translation of 登録する. I rejected the translations stating this, but Gengo staff said my rejection wasn't valid and that these were "quality translations." AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS.

This is what you need to do to get a high quality translation

I have been translating for Gengo for a couple of months now and have had a read through the reviews with many clients complaining about issues with their translation. I basically only ever work on jobs at the Pro level rate of $0.09 because only this rate allows for enough time to produce a quality translation. In regards to the bad reviews: I believe this is a matter of you get what you paid for. If you submit your translation as a standard translation the translator gets paid a measly $0.03 to $0.035 per word which is way below industry standards (at least a third lower than what a professional translator usually charges). Generally speaking, a translator translates around 300 words per hour. This means a translator makes around $9.00 per hour at these rates. In most countries this would be below minimum wage and without any of the perks that come with being employed (annual leave, sick leave, paid public holidays. So, in order to make some money a translator will need to churn out at least 600 words per hour if not more. Hence, the quality of this translation will never be as good as a translation done for the Pro rate of $0.09. Put simply if you want a high quality translation please submit your job as a Pro job and a professional translator will work on your translation. You simply cannot expect a high quality translation at the standard rate. For even higher quality translations, provide as much context as possible and a glossary if needed. Also, if you submit your translation through their system it gets split across different translators. This means that your final translation will be inconsistent in style and terminology. In order to avoid this simply submit your translation in a word document or excel spreadsheet. Just don't bother, they are a joke

Their big headline on the website says "Professional translation within hours" which is a complete lie and any translation you order will take at least a week before corrections. The home page also says "Ready to get started? Translate instantly using our order form." - Yeah right. I rejected my translation because it did not meet our needs and there were errors on every email (11 emails / 5500 words) and explained that I only used them because of speed, so what did they do. Gave it to someone else to translate so now it's going to be another week or more. Complete and utter discrace - will never use again and I will be publishing this review over social media.

Pre-tests are falsified...

Just took the MCQ test to be approved as Translator (French to English). I have been reading, writing and speaking both languages for 35 yrs. And been doing professional technical translations for the past 10 years. I got only a 1 out of 5 correct... either i am completely inept or their tests are biased/ wrong.

Why oh why did I change to this supplier???? Worse customer "services", absolutely awful

An attempt to move from NPower to Southern Electric (SSE) has been made for several months now and they STILL have not got it right. 1) my initial application to transfer was lost 2) the second and current application for dual (gas & electricity) was only partly done. The gas move is still outstanding after several frustrating attempts to get the meter reading over to them, to get the account moved, etc. I am now paying Npower and Southern Electric until this matter has been resolved 3) the promised £30 incentive to move suppliers never materialised 4) the promised £20 M&S voucher incentive never materialised Many frustrating and time consuming telephone calls and emails later and this still has not been resolved. We which we had never moved to this supplier. People, stay away !!

Shocking after sales . I moved from Octopus to take a slightly better electricity deal …what a mistake that was !!!! SSE have confused my day and night readings meaning if I am unable to submit readings so I have no idea how much power I’ve been using . I have called 3 times to get this sorted and they said to give an initial reading ( which I did ) and they would call back later on the day for a second reading to verify which was the day reading . Never got the second call !!!! Had to cancel the smart meter install because it would mean my daytime useage would be insane as they have my nighttime ( low useage) as my daytime …Dreadful …I am going back to Octopus

The worst customer service you can ever imagine

If you like going round the merry go round or chasing your own tail constantly. Well this is the supplier that will make you feel that way. Horrendous customer service. Our business has been supplied by SSE for a few years now. Suddenly we get a huge bill for nearly 24 grand sprung upon us when we pay out quarterly. The advisors themselves couldn't understand why this bill was sent and put it down to possibly being a faulty smart meter. I can understand if I was running a factory but we are a small business. Apparently the job was 'in progress' and someone would come out within 10 days. Nobody came out. I was fobbed off constantly by saying ring this number and re book or someone will be ringing you today or tomorrow. Found out they haven't sent something called a work flow request over which is why the smart meter team couldn't send someone out. This is absolutely terrible not to mention having a 24 grand bill looming over our head!!

I've had a frustrating experience with SSE Business regarding my clients' accounts for two separate properties. Over the last six months, we've been charged for the wrong meters, leading to significant billing errors. Despite numerous calls and discussions with several representatives, the issue remained unresolved. However, I finally got through to someone who was genuinely helpful—Nika. He has been outstanding in helping us get to the bottom of the problem and initiating the steps needed to correct it. While I still have an open complaint with SSE and await a full resolution, Nika's support has been the only bright spot in this situation. Thank you, Nika, for your help and dedication. SSE could certainly benefit from more representatives like you. 5 STARS ONLY FOR NIKA NOT SSE.

I did finally get the item that I ordered on November 23 as a Christmas gift, today. The jersey is exactly as I had hoped and my husband loved it. Emailing with this company was positive, they always responded within a day of my questions. I also had a product stall in New York before Christmas thinking it would be here but it is what it is. They made it right and for that I am grateful, so is my husband because he thought I got scammed on his Christmas gift. Die Hälfte der Restaurants sind gemäss Smood immer gerade geschlossen, bei der anderen Hälfte kommt, sobald man Speisen bestellen will, ein Hinweis auf der App, dass das Restaurant heute keine Liefertermine hätte. Gelingt es doch ein Mal, eine Bestellung zu platzieren, wird diese vom Restaurant storniert. Der Kundendienst auf deutsch ist via Telefon gar nicht zu erreichen, via Chat wird mir gesagt, dass man nichts tun könne und die Anfrage an das Sales-Team weiterleite. Von diesem kommt dann keine Antwort. Also: Finger Weg von dieser Firma! Auf gar keinen Fall einen Gutschein bestellen.

Wie bei Pat's Bewertung wurde auch bei meinem Wohnort das komplette Angebot gestrichen. Nachdem man so eine Antwort vom Unternehmen liest, fragt man sich einfach nur noch, wollen die uns für dumm verkaufen? Man bemängelt, dass das Angebot schlechter wird und als Antwort kriegt man bloss ein paar Zeilen aus dem Leitfaden des Unternehmens. Einfach nur ein Witz. Dementsprechend seid ihr diesem Ziel, mit breiter Belieferung etc. offenbsichtlich gescheitert, da einfach die Ortschaften nicht mehr beliefert werden. Im App Store werden kritische Bewertungen mit einer generischen Nachricht des Unternehmens kommentiert. Hier rechne ich, falls das Unternehmen überhaupt reagiert, mit einer ebensolchen Antwort.

I smell a rat…

Booked this company for rat removal from ceiling. Prompt and professional on phone at first booking. However, I called back 5 minutes later to cancel the booking after reading these reviews. The man I spoke to became aggressive and demanded to know why I was cancelling asking if I got a cheaper price. I said no we had sorted the issue so didn’t need the service anymore (not true but I didn’t want to get into it with him). He then became very forceful and said I couldn’t cancel and the booking had already been confirmed. I said well there is no job to do anymore so it will need to be cancelled. I am not opening the door if anyone shows up to my house. He said I will need to pay a cancellation fee. I said absolutely not when I only booked 5 minutes ago. Alarm bells are ringing at this point that this company is dodgy as hell and looking to scam people. I am so glad I cancelled. My last conversation with them just confirmed that I was right in trusting my instincts and these reviews. Thank you to others who to took the time to leave a review!

Engaged these guys after reading all of their wonderful testimony on their website …. All rubbish! They quoted $220 over the phone but this escalated to a whopping $495 for a service that ended up not even working. Wasps were back in force within the week. We called them about the situation and they said they’d come back but of course wanted more money from us, possibly up to extra $1,000 for complete treatment!! We called another company who came out and did an excellent treatment service for $120 resulting in all wasps completely gone! We absolutely DO NOT recommend this company.

We needed a wasp nest removed from above our back door in Brisbane, were quoted $250. Thought it expensive but just wanted them gone in a hurry. He destroyed the nest, sprayed it with something soapy, then charged us $370 which he wanted by direct payment there and then before he left. We asked for an invoice which we're still waiting on. The wasps are back today. We noticed there was no advertising on the car either, and today noticed we could've got the same thing on air-tasker for less than $100.

They should change their name to "Rip Off" or "Dodgy". Smell of foul smell in ceiling of Master bedroom while going to sleep. Fill out an enquiry for dead rat removal, received call within one minute. This guy Michael kept changing subject without giving price stating call out charges is $220 and stating costs of up to $400. Michael insisted that the job to be done as they are 24/7 and this guy, Sam arrived at 11pm and he did not bring any torch with him and had to borrow mine. After inspection Sam found the dead mouse and mentioned removal, sanitization and spray. The technician called someone and quoted $2600 I stated that I don't have that kind of money and ask him to go paying for his call out charges of $220. After some haggling this was reduced down to $660 inclusive of GST. All I can say is job is done but the process is dodgy. As I note website is some kind of advertisement and you cannot leave any review there. All those who needs dead rat removal service please get more quotes to compare and stay away from this Ripoff service or rather 'rest in peace' company. $2600 LOL what a joke and Sam don't have a torch, a basic tool for his work.

My elderly parents called these guys to remove a dead rat from their ceiling space. They arrived and entered roof space. Said they couldn't proceed as the route was obstructed. Charged my pensioned parents $100 call out fee and left them with the rat still in the roof space. I arrived the next day. Entered the roof space and with only minor difficulty removed the dead rat. My advice. Stay clear of this business and any business who uses this tactic to force payment out of vulnerable folk.

We were charged almost $800 for a 1hr visit that achieved nothing

We called Squeak Pest Control for a foul smell above our bedroom ceiling. We requested a quote at the time of booking but were advised that this was not possible as it depended upon the nature of the problem. The contractor was unable to find the source of the odour. We accepted his offer to spray the inside of our roof which he said would settle the odour in 48hrs and kill maggots. He then charged us $792. He was at our place for 1hr. The odour persisted for 2 weeks and was so bad we could not sleep in our room. I complained and requested a partial refund without success. I also took my complaint to Consumer Business Services however since we failed to insist on a quote beforehand we had no grounds to demand anything back from them. They know the system. I would not recommend their service.

Called up and placed an offer for a property with Keisha in early December after viewing with her. I thought it was an odd encounter as she didn’t ask for proof of funds beyond asking if I had a MIP (I did). That was the last I heard from her relating to this offer - I haven’t been able to make contact since. I am baffled at the concept of being ghosted by an estate agent. I am a first time buyer and the snobbery I have experienced from this estate agent has completely put me off from interacting with them again. A little courtesy goes a long way.

We ended up taking them to court in 2020 after non payment for a job we did for them. Even after they lost the case they still didn't pay and we ended up sending bailiffs into their office to collect what they owed. Heard so many stories from other agents and landlords regarding their shady practices. Wouldn't touch them with a bargepole.

I am utterly appalled by this estate agency. We paid a deposit for a sale that ultimately fell through, and it has now been 4 months without any clear communication regarding the return of our money. These people are absolute crooks! Every time we try to get answers, we are passed around from person to person with no resolution in sight. We have now resorted to legal action, and I have seen many others with similar complaints. I will update this review if we ever get our money back. For anyone else dealing with this, I recommend going through small claims court. DO NOT TRUST any of the following: Paul Nan John Litaunieks Alan Herbert Edit: The owner claims they have no record of my details, despite me sending multiple communications to all of the aforementioned individuals. This is an absolutely appalling attempt to save face! Update: We have now submitted a Small Claims Court judgment and a County Court Judgment. Due to the company’s negligence, they will likely have to pay out more than they owe us, purely because they refused to return our money (pathetic!). We are now awaiting a legal order to take serious action against them. I strongly advise against doing any business with this agency as they will likely face many legal repercussions in the coming months. Update: How pathetic that they are trying to play the ignorant card and say "this review is not related to us" when they have received multiple emails from myself, the council and now they will be receiving it from enforcement agencies.

We have placed an offer for a house with Esquire estate agency in Luton. The estate agent Amina asked us proof of funds, copies of identity documents etc. We tried to keep in touch with the estate agent, for the progress of this sale but had no reply. When I contacted the direct number of the agency, the estate agent stated her what's app went blank and could not read her messages (never mind she had our contact on the office data base, and that the house we placed an offer for was sold already. I would not recommend Esquire to anybody. Very bad service!!!

Worst estate agents ever....

Esquire is one of the worst estate agents one could opt for their journey to buy a house. I will share my personal experience in this review. Problems started since the very beginning. They keep after you until you book the deposit and then forget you completely. They won't pick up your calls or if by mistake they do (when I used to call from other numbers), their response yo your queries would be that 'we will check and cone back soon', which they never does. So, we opted to view a new development (block of flats) for a 2-bed flat being managed by Esquire. They took me to the show flat which was a 2 bed 1 bath flat. I liked it and asked for a 2 bed 2 bath flat. They told me that the flats on top floor would be exactly like the show flat but with 2 baths but they are not yet ready for display. So, based on their assurance, I transferred my £2000 deposit and booked the flat but after a week I thought of taking a look at the flat in any condition it might be in. So, I went there and found that it was not at all like the show flat. The structure was completely different with smaller windows, smaller rooms, minimal natural light, etc., something I would have never gone for. So, I cancelled it and went for a 2bed 1 bath flat instead. This all was in Apr 2022. At this point, I was told that flats would be ready by Sept. Now came Aug, I called them to check the progress and after multiple calls, I was told that Sept end or early Oct should be achievable. In Sept, upon asking, we were told that there are some delays and thus the flat won't be ready by Oct but will definitely be done by December 2022. Based on this new completion date, I planned my family's visit to the UK in April 2023 as I would use Jan-Mar to settle in the new flat and make them feel like home when they arrive. In Nov, upon asking, I am told that Dec is also not likely due to various reasons but would now be done by Jan end or early Feb 2023. Based on this new assurance, I extended my notice with the landlord until Feb. Then, in Jan 2023, I did a viewing and felt the property can't be done even by the end of Feb. I asked Esquire about it and now was being told that completion and move-in would be done by 1st week of March and was even given timelines around utilities' installations, internet, etc. On 24th Feb 2023, I had a call with one of the investors where he assured me that he is ok to refund my £2000 if I back out any time as he understands how much pain and stress this must have caused me. But also, confirmed that they are trying their best and he would ask all buyers to come and visit in the 1st or 2nd week of March to decide whether they want to proceed with the purchase. We didn't receive any invite until the 2nd week of March, so on 11th Mar, we decided that we need to take a call now as my family would be with us on 1st April and till now we haven't got any confirmation whether we would be ready to move in by 31st Mar. On 16th Mar, Alan confirmed that refund would be initiated by Esquire's Director on 17th Mar as he manages all such transactions. On 18th Mar, I chased up for the refund but got no response back. I kept calling and emailing them but no one responded. In the last week of March, I finally was able to speak with them and was told to view the property again, if I feel that it is close to readiness, I can continue with the purchase otherwise they will give my money back. I went in there to view property and it was as-is in Jan, I emailed them and they said it will be ready by May for sure. My bank offer was supposed to expire on 7th Apr with no option of extension. I told them this and they asked me to talk to my solicitors and get everything done before 7th Apr and move into the property later upon completion. I discussed with my solicitors and they said its not possible as without completions, checks won't pass. To this, Esquire said we can't do anything, talk to the investors from now on. What do you do after this? Finally, my bank offer expired, I didn't get the flat, I didn't get the deposit back. The investors were Stuart Hickman and Claire Van Achter from GFS Money. From Esquire, I spoke to Alan Herbert and Imran. Please don't deal with these guys ever for any property related transactions. Updated after the comment from Esquire: That's what happened to me throughout last 14 months, everything was blamed after the developers and vice-versa. If they are mentioning about the deposit form then I have the below counter points. 1. I used the HTB scheme which means that my deposit should not be more than £500 but Esquire still asked for £2000. 2. My mortgage offer expired & lender denied to reextend the offer (an extension already); and the property was still not ready, shouldn't I get my deposit back? - My solicitor also confirmed that I should be repaid my money back. 3. HTB scheme also closed on 31st March so how could they give the flat to me with no offer or HTB?

Ik snap niet dat ze een licentie hebben gekregen om in Nederland hun diensten legaal te mogen aanbieden, jaren lang hebben ze illegaal via reclames en nep reviews en door het aanbieden van iDeal als stortingsmogelijkheid doelbewust zich gericht op de Nederlandse markt terwijl voor oktober 2021 al het online gokken verboden was, maar door reclames op social media en nep reviews hebben er heel veel Nederlanders heel veel geld verloren die geen eens wisten dat online gokken verboden was in die tijd en dat zeggen ze zelf ook niet en door het aanbieden van iDeal wat alleen in Nederland wordt gebruikt ben je gewoon misleid en onbewust online lopen gokken terwijl dat toen bij wet verboden was in Nederland. Dit soort casino's zijn degene die veel spelers gokverslaafd hebben gemaakt door het geven van heel veel bonussen en free spins en stortingsbonussen. Wat een gedoe allemaal ik heb net al die reviews zitten lezen en ik heb de zelfde sh*t geen goed woord hierover . Ik begrijp niet waar deze blokkade vandaan komt denk dat ze willekeurig spelers uitkiezen. Nou deze gaan we eens effe flink pesten. En als je ze vraagt dan krijg je als antwoord je bent door je sessie limiet heen snap er geen ene reet van het is wel frustrerend want. No hay nada que salvar de esta empresa. Absolutamente nada. Tras sufrir acoso y amenaza de falsa denuncia por mi expareja, decidí dejarla y a la vivienda, sin llegar a habitarla. Ahí comenzaron mis problemas. Mi nombre fue SECUESTRADO durante 2 años, no teniendo posibilidad de salir de ese contrato leonino, ya que mi expareja se quedó viviendo en la casa. El contrato se prorrogaba automáticamente, sin tener en cuenta mi decisión de no renovación. Ni siquiera en sus políticas internas viene especificado todo esto ni te avisan de antemano de que puede pasar. No les interesa que lo sepas. Y la voluntad de mi expareja de renovar el contrato se antepuso a mi voluntad de no renovarlo. Vamos, que si no hay acuerdo, hacen lo que puedan para llevarse el dinero. ¿Y por qué no me dejaban salir del contrato? Porque pedían un estudio financiero, que te cobran como a 150-300€. Un estudio que no me habría servido para nada, porque mi expareja no iba a pasarlo, ya que no cobra el doble de lo que cuesta el alquiler. Pero aunque no lo pasaría, se quedó viviendo ahí. Pero vamos a ver, entonces, ¡dejadme irme! Por eso me dejaron atado al contrato, para asegurarse de que ellos, pasara lo que pasara, jamás correrían riesgo ni pérdida y pudieran seguir sacando dinero. Aunque yo quisiera salirme del contrato. Retuercen las leyes para adaptarlas a su beneficio, sin tener en cuenta tus derechos individuales. Como véis, en AS no pusieron ninguna facilidad ni posibilidad para solucionar mi problema. Cuando ella ya decidió por fin abandonar la vivienda, ni siquiera me permitieron entregar las llaves en otro día u oficina para no tener que encontrarme con ella. Tampoco accedieron a devolver la mitad a cada uno de la garantía y fianza (las cuales yo había pagado), puesto que solo devolvían dichos montos (2400€ en total) a la cuenta donde estuvieran domiciliadas las mensualidades, que obviamente era la de mi expareja, ya que era la que se quedó viviendo en la casa. Ah, ¿y os acordáis de que el gobierno prohibió a las empresas de alquiler cobrar el "mes de agencia"? Ellos se adaptaron rápido y le cambiaron ese nombre (diciendo que servía para no sé qué mierdas inútiles y que jamás se usan de apoyo legal por si hay problemas con los vecinos) para cobrártelo igual. Todo mal. Y CERO EMPATÍA. Podrían facilitar cosas, como que dejes las llaves en otra oficina, otro día, hacer dos transferencias de la garantía... ¡y problema solucionado! Pero es como si la empresa fuera llevada por robots sin alma. Como les dije, lo que hacen puede que sea legal (o alegal, incluso), pero no es ético. Jamás volveré a contratarles. Muy mala experiencia. Hoy me presento en una oficina para pedir info sobre un inmueble, me piden todos los documentos, los presento para estudio, me dicen que sobre las 5 me avisan. A la hora y media me dicen que lo aceptan pero que tendré que pagar otro mes de fianza, acepto y me llaman cuando han pasado ni 2 horas exigiendo que lo alquile ya de ya porque no pueden esperar 1 semana (para eso haces la reserva express) quedamos en visita virtual al día siguiente y en menos de 5 h desde que fui a pedir información, ¡ME LLAMA EL COMERCIAL DICIENDO QUE NO PUEDEN ESPERAR TANTO Y QUE CANCELAN! Que el propietario no puede esperar a que vea el piso... Señores! La gente trabaja, y 5h para desembolsar 4000€ y un compromiso de 5 años no da nada de seguridad.

El problema de esta empresa

El problema con esta agencia es que se aprovechan de la situación inmobiliaria actual y de la necesidad de las personas para hacer negocio con condiciones abusivas y legalmente dudosas (como el SAI, que es una flagrante comisión encubierta, sus antiguos honorarios que por supuesto, no quieren dejar de ganar). Además, acaparan una cantidad considerable de los pisos del mercado (por el miedo de los arrendadores a impagos) y esto dificulta aún más el conseguir una vivienda (derecho básico). Creo que tanto los inquilinos, pero sobretodo los propietarios NO DEBEN CONTRATAR LOS SERVICIOS DE ESTA EMPRESA, pues contribuyen a dificultar y empeorar el mercado de alquiler de vivienda. La propia empresa debería ser consciente con la cantidad de reseñas negativas, y hacer algo al respecto, no solo intentar defenderse con el mismo discurso genérico Si los directivos y socios tienen un poco de humanidad, deberían cambiar sus estrategias de negocio, y aunque ganen menos dinero, no dañar a las personas.

Pésima agencia . Primero porque te citan a una hora pero te dejan esperando 20 minutos esto me ocurrió con un tal Pablo en un piso de la calle Ochogavia 42. Que al final ni logré ver y encima me dijo que solo lo podía ver 10 minutos … y por último te cobran honorarios ósea 1 mensualidad +IVA esto no procede ya que por ser más de 11 meses no te puede cobrar. Honorarios y por último cada año le pagas a ellos. Dicen que para arreglos de la casa, manitas , domiciliar los recibos de gas, electricidad entre otras cosas más .. me imagino que esto no saben los dueños.

Muy mala experiencia alquilando una vivienda con esta empresa. La comunicación es pésima, las incidencias no se resuelven y para rematar la faena el inquilino se marcha y deja el piso destrozado y su única gestión es hacer un presupuesto de los arreglos (más de 3000 euros) para que lo tengas. Ni reclamar al inquilino, ni asumir con el seguro que en teoría cobran al inquilino nada, vamos que te dejan la casa destrozada y ya apenas cuidado. Eso sí, cuando la arregles llámame, me pagas de nuevo y te la alquilo otra vez (esa es su gestión). La palabra para definirlos es impresentables.

Más tarde durante la visita, el comercial (Ricardo Barbarossa, en barcelona) nos lo intenta colar diciéndonos que si no lo cogemos, tenemos que formalizar nosotros mismos con el propietario. Vamos, que como no os queremos pagar la comisión de la agencia, os desentendéis. Sois unos caraduras sin vergüenza alguna.

CBQ credit card is the worst credit card since August of 2024! They have change the payment bill from 30th of the month to 19th of the month,, why?? So that they could easily steal money to every credit card user and who are receiving their salary every end of the month. Why is that?? Of course nobody would have even single penny to pay your full balance before 19th of the month as the salary is coming before wnd of the month. Worst credit card ever!!! I have paid the full amount of my total balance before 19th of this month but still i got deducted remaining balance and a credit shield! Call centers explanation when i have called about that matter he explained from south then east and north then again it went to east then north and south! I went to CBQ to investigate fraudulent activity on my account and needed a printout of past transactions to clarify what had occurred. They demanded 20QR for each months transaction history. They do not make this information available to you online, you have no option but to cave to their demands. They hold your data hostage then force you to pay to get it. They were uninterested in helping me deal with the fraud, only in taking the little I had left! They are rude, dismissive, and outright hostile as well. They continued to justify their actions and glared at me the whole time when I informed them my brother had been able to get a printout FOR NO FEE twice!! I would not recommend dealing with CBQ unless you enjoy giving your hard earned money to the bank.

They helped me get a cita previa de extranjeros to get my NIE as a citizen of EU. I paid the price that everybody at the market proposes, which isn't exactly low, but they kind of have a monopoly because there is only one other attorney that does it for a price that is 3.5 times higher than theirs and the other ones suck. Nevertheless, they suck too. I got the cita previa 13 days after I was done with all the documents that were required, and gathering the documents took me 2-3 weeks. I got the cita previa 8 days after the day they got it. I'm not satisfied because they weren't clear enough about some of the missing documents and without the help of my friends that went through the same process I might have had a hard time. Also talking to them is not exactly easy because they use a very hard Spanish vocabulary and they put a lot of resistance, they were uncooperative giving me the information I needed from them and I paid for. To summary, the result is a success, but the process was unnecessarily hard.

However, within 2 months the materials I’d received stopped sticking to the window properly, making my purchase obsolete. Be wary when you order from this site - delivery may come from Thailand! I ordered from them and the next I heard was that my delivery was at the border and subject to customs import fees of DKK 225, which was half the cost of my order again! The website does explicitly state 'Free Delivery In Denmark' and makes no mention of this. I emailed customer services and complained, and they did refund me the customs charge after a couple of emails back and forth. They explained that they are a global chain and Covid has affected their deliveries. However, the UK has an outlet from this same company and their Trustpilot reviews also complain of this hidden charge. The product arrived as described and although I have not used it yet, it seems exactly as described. I'm happy with how customer services handled my complaint. Just bear in mind that you may have to battle to get your money back when you pay a customs fee at the border!

What a dreadful organisation to deal with. I placed an order for a 20ltr drum of specialist engine oil and thought this would be and easy transaction, most sellers are to be honest, how wrong I was. I had no confirmation of the order except from PayPal, thinking no more I thought I would email them to check if they had the order, after several emails and two days of no replies I thought I would call them, that also didn't work as the phone went to voicemail every time I left messages to call me but never happened, then i received an email after hours (very strange for a business) However they never answered my questions just kept saying its the bad weather and we don't have a delivery Company for this specialist product, strange as they sell oils? Finally after four days said sorry we cannot supply and will re-fund you. That left me no option but to travel out and going and collect oil from another suppliers. After returning home what do I find they have delivered the oil miraculously, however no Invoice and never received any shipping info or order acknowledgement. what a rubbish way to run a company. I am now left with a £300 oil bill. I have since received an email to show the tracking of my oil several days after, However what I asked for - Confirmation of the order and most importantly an Invoice they have never answered or supplied. A very unprofessional set up Avoid this firm at all costs.

Due to some kind of email problems (I’m not sure about) I checked my spam filter etc and could not find a problem at my email side.. But to be fair when we did start to communicate Daniel is very professional and courteous. All companies can have problems with deliveries but it’s the way they get over them that makes the difference..! The replacement bottles were sent out very quickly.. Well done Car Smart. Be very wary of references from Greycoats

I used Greycoats for a Housekeeper. I think their main interest is their fee and covering their backside. The references they took were hopelessly inaccurate. The lady they found Cristina was reluctant to drive - I had told them driving was essential; she was also a serial liar; she was reluctant to follow instructions; she took 3 weeks holiday in the first four months; she secretly left breaching her contract; and has left owing money and with various letters arriving from debt collectors. Just hopeless. Avoid.

Not a caring or helpful agency

I have to be completely honest, I don’t like giving bad reviews but I hope to help others in need of a job before they consider registering. The application process is very lengthy, and to become a candidate you will need to do extra steps such as photo copying your passport and asking the post office to verify it which is at a cost. The interview process is very long and they promise to help you and lift your hopes up. After registering and you are interested in so many roles, you find that all agents there don’t give you any chance to interview with the clients. They simply say you don’t have enough formal experience. Even someone with plenty of experience, with ability for the roles, they are not interested. I feel they are willing only to take on ‘senior’ candidates with 15+ years of experience, then you’ll be a good fit for the roles. So my advice is anyone of a younger age, don’t register with this agency as you’ll have countless rejection and feel as though you are not good enough. I gave up in the end and feel much better for it. Please just save your time and try other agencies that care more.

Employers Avoid

We wish we had seen the reviews posted here before instructing them to find staff. We are taking legal action against them to recover our substantial costs and fees paid to them. If you’re an employer expect unsuitable candidates. They claimed to have only had “4 or 5 issues such as ours in 20 years”. Well, reading the reviews here that is clearly not true. My experience of greycoat lumleys has been 5 star, it has taken a while to find the right job for me, but you have to realise that due to the nature of the high end clients, job vacancies for specific roles, you need to wait for and you will be rewarded with a stunning location and family to work for. My agent Aaron has been amazing, so warm and friendly and professional, he has been with me every step of the journey, from my 1st interview to set me up with greycoats and offering support and advice before my face to face meetings with the client and he has been the key link to my new principal owners to "sell" me,and alway at the end of the phone or email. I would highly recommend this fantastic high end agency.

False ads to lure you in …

False ads to lure you in and once they have copies of documents they "must have to proceed with the application" photo, proof of I.D, etc the position is suddenly withdrawn due to 'having a candidate on trial or client is going to wait till later in the year'. Not real jobs and clearly just fishing for your data, DON'T SEND ANYTHING TO THEM, I have no idea what there going to do with my data I hope it's not a scam. Save yourself slot of hassle and don't bother.

Not even given a chance

I saw a job which was ideal on their website so I uploaded my CV and tried to apply, but unfortunately you need a client number and you have to wait for them to contact you, you can’t apply until they think you are worthy to apply for their clients. I decided to email a member of the team and stated how much I’d like to apply for this job, and within 2 minutes I got a reply to say she read my CV and my 15years experience in the field wasn’t enough. She stated someone was at the second interview stage…. It was a very patronising email and I won’t hold my breath for a client number for future opportunity’s.

Dreadful from an employer's perspective

It does not surprise me that the Greycoat approach is simply not to engage with a forum like this where all of their very unhappy customers might congregate and provide details of their experiences! We paid them thousands of pounds for an employee who was at best average (and often worse than that!) and when she left (giving us no notice and after not being with us for long) they provided no help with finding anyone else and simply expected another huge fee, for doing virtually nothing, and despite the very poor experience we had had the first time around.

Worst agency of all

Worst agency of all! I had a trial with a family and I reserved a my free Saturday for them. The children loved and connected with me very well! We did engage in playing. The family however thought the trial was not productive and thought they don't have to pay me for my precious time. The agency didn't even ensure that the family payes me! They did no effort themselves to make the family understand that trial must be payed. I never experienced anything like this. Please be aware and avoid this agency. It's a pure waste of time!

4000 euro for One door damage. Be careful!!

For a little scratch on the door they charged me 4000 euro! I could buy a new car with It. And I bought 100 euro insurance for 4 days but it wasn't covering this damage caused by the wind. So what normally happens on Iceland, because of strong winds, is not coverd by the insurance!! Logical choice

Unlike other people I didnt get a choice between insurrance or a hefty deposit. I was just forced to put 490000isk (like 3500USD) on my creditcard, I thought they were joking, but nope I booked via a third party. Never heard of this discrimination before. Unluckily that my salary was just paid the same morning. But had to take a loan to pay my bills and fund what should have been a nice holiday. Because we had to be cheap on food and couldnt do any extras, Its an absolute scam. Never got any pick up confirmation, but of course took pictures and video of car. When returning they open at 6.00, I was there a while after 6.00 and nobody there. Using the drop off box has an extra fee, they shouldnt even dare to charge it, I took pictures and everything that it was 6.30 when I dropped the key and they were not open. Nothing bad about the car, it was brand new and super advanced. But after a week of returning it, still no deposit refunded and no confirmation of drop off. I filed a complain and all they say they have the right to do all this. Its robbery to hold on to the deposit this long, they say it can take 28 days, which of course it will so they harvest my interest that I now have to pay as fine for my loan. I live in Iceland and I saw that car back on the road, there is zero reason to hold it, they cleared the car. Also they didnt tell how to pick up the car. I am a local I know where they are located, but as a tourist I would have had no idea where to go because they didnt sent this information and at the airport terminal are only the bigger companies. They dont deserve a desk there anyway. Notice they also don't care about complaints here and probably put up 2 clearly fake 5 star ratings, you cant make this sheit up really....

RUN FOREST RUN!!!!!

Booked the car for 2 days. Issue immediately happened after 2 hours where the tyres were not pressurised enough. My feeling is they had the warning and simply reset the warnings in car... because thats what the did for me at the tune of an additional £400 they tried to get me to pay. The issue went away for an additional 4 hours then happened again. Absolute scam. I would run miles away from this company

Cancelled our car but took the money

We booked a car through EasyJet and the confirmed pick up time was 8:15 pm. After we landed, we phoned the company only to hear a message that they had closed the office at 6pm. We called easyJet customer services for help, but they were unable to speak to anybody in the office either. We found the shuttle bus which was also out of service with no alternative information.I use a wheelchair and have chronic fatigue, so we made the decision to get a taxi to our hotel and to pick up the car in the morning. When we called the company in the morning they had given our car away and cancelled our booking but still taken my money. We were offered a smaller car, which would not have taken my wheelchair or obviously a much more expensive bigger car. We are currently trying to get my money back via easyJet.

The budget car hire experience was marred by incredibly rude and dismissive treatment from staff, leaving me eager to share this disparaging one-star review. Despite understanding the budget nature, the staff's contempt and disdain for customers were palpable. During car pickup, we were scorned for choosing a smaller car, insinuating they'd relish our misfortune. The Filipino lady handling the return abruptly paused to take a personal call, leaving us uncertain about completing the process. Waiting for the transfer bus, we endured a 30-minute wait inside, only to be told to flag it down outside, adding to the frustration caused by the same lady's earlier neglect. This disrespectful treatment, highlighted by their indifferent attitude, prompted my first negative review, reflecting a shameful lack of customer dignity. DO NOT RENT FROM HERE !!!

The worst experience I had with a rental company! They charged us additionnal fees for no valid reason. Be sure to bring a credit card with you (not a debit card) cause if you don't they'll force you to take the full insurence for the car (and it's very expensive!!!)

Heated gloves broke on first use - DO NOT BUY.

I received the heated gloves as a gift. First time skiing and using them the zipper which holds the battery in place broke. I contacted them, they were very polite asking for pictures and details. The final verdic was that this model is no longer produced so no replacement would be provided. Crappy product do not buy!

I wish I had read the reviews PRIOR to spending $500 on a power station. We got the extra 4 year warranty on top of that price. BAD decision because the phone number basically said there was not customer service and I needed to email the problem to the company and WAIT for a response. I would not hold my breath because I would have died before someone would call me back. I guess because of so many faulty pieces of equipment, or a LACK of a QI department, maybe the business folded and is not selling anything anymore. Who know? you can't get anyone of the phone number that was listed on Amazon. That is probably why they are not selling these on Amazon anymore.

Shoddy product, horrid customer service. Bought a 500w power bank 2.5 years ago. Barely used it as I bought it for backup. My pool vac quit working

My pool vac quit working. It was still under warranty. When I call paxcess customer support, I get an Aiper rep. Send the vac back for a repair/replacement. Now they have my pool vac. They won’t repair/replace it and they won’t send my original pool vac back. All I get is a runaround every two days.

I waited so long to open the new arrival I was past the guaranteed part replacement and agrred to pay for the part. I purchased a pressure washer from them in June 2021. It's been used 10-15 times in that period. I took it out of the gargage to use it this year to clean the drive, and now the hose won't go into the socket it goes into! I've contacted their customer support and was told "sorry, we don't have any UK stock" ... well I call BS, as they have them on Amazon going for £200 currently! I'll be reporting them to Amazon and everywhere else I can find to vent my anger!

Like the majority of other reviews, I placed an order in Sept 2024 which was never shipped, no contact from company even when emailed. Ended up filling a refund with PayPal. Wish I'd have checked Trustpilot first as it looks like they're not trading anymore but still accept orders and payments.

Beware, this company doesn't treat it's customers with respect

Why are some companies not bothered about bad reviews. I placed my order in May 2024. After a month I heard nothing about delivery. I emailed twice and some time elapsed before the company, out of the blue, sent an email saying my goods were being posted. When the goods arrived the package showed signed of leakage within, and sure enough one of the jars of garlic paste had leaked. I sent an email, with photos to the company and I've heard nothing since. This is no way to treat customers, and this company should be ashamed of themselves. BEWARE!!!
