This company was assigned by my letting agency to do a decorating job after a water leaking in the ceiling and wall in the lounge. They originally send a quote of £250 to do all the job but some days afterwards they increase it to over £500 with the pretext that they couldn´t find the exact same colour. They should have confirmed if they had everything they needed and properly analised the situation before sending any quote. I think is very unprofessional, so I don´t recommend this company.

I booked them at 30 May to service my tenanted flat which is just down the road from their shop - but they never turned up. My tenant got quite annoyed. I asked again. This time Elisabete made the appointment. Still they didn't show. No apology. Nothing. They did send me an advanced invoice though. Says it all really.

Schuco n'est plus ce qu'il était. J'ai eu pour plus de 60K de fourniture et pose sur leur "meilleure" gamme. C'est truffé de défauts ! J'ai contacté le directeur France qui m'a mené en bateau pendant 2 ans... J'ai aussi contacté le DG en Allemagne... idem, rien à faire. Je suis un professionnel dans le bâtiment et c'est l'une des pires expériences avec une marque reconnue. Je suis passé maintenant sur Technal; c'est le jour et la nuit en terme de isolation phonique et de finition.

We ordered custom-colored Schueco products for our home, but three parts arrived in the wrong color. Despite paying a 30-40% premium for the custom color, this mistake delayed our project and forced our family (with a 1-year-old child) out of our home for over two months. Schueco is supposed to be a premium brand, but this experience was anything but. Unfortunately, since the error came from their provider in Bulgaria, and we used a third party, we couldn't take legal action. Extremely disappointed with the lack of quality and attention to detail.

Buongiorno, circa 5 mesi fa ho istallato serramenti Schüco in alluminio ritenendo tale marchio il “non plus ultra”! Invece mi ritrovo letteralmente a piedi. Alcuni infissi istallati presentano evidenti imperfezioni, sull’alluminio camuffati in malo modo da un bianchetto, altri non riesco ad aprirli perché privi di motore elettrico,( sono finestre molto pesanti non apribili a mano) altri ancora, sono stati istallati senza il sensore dell’antifurto e la Schüco fornisce i suoi per motivi di sicurezza. Pertanto il mio elettricista non può metterci le mani per non avere problemi futuri. Il produttore installatore un tale Vernassi non risponde neppure alle mie telefonate, ho fatto presente la situazione anche all’azienda di Padova scrivendo una mail ma ad oggi non ho avuto nessun riscontro. Ritenevo di essermi affidata ad un’azienda seria affidabile che risponde dei suoi prodotti ed invece… non so cosa fare quindi attenzione alla scelta che fate, perché non è detto che se pagate tanto avrete certamente un buon prodotto serio ed affidabile e garantito. Contattato il Premium Partner pubblicizzato da Schuco nel loro sito (per la provincia di Perugia). Vado prima presso l'azienda del partner e mi accordo per una visita a casa mia per i rilievi tecnici e la presa delle misure (visita fatta a Marzo 2024). Dopo almeno 10 telefonate e promesse al vento, mi ritrovo ad oggi senza alcun preventivo, sono passati 4 mesi, forse meglio così. Se tanto mi dà tanto non oso pensare cosa sarebbe stato tutto il resto, pessima esperienza, sceglierò un'azienda più seria.

Raccapricciante ! Dopo aver comperato una trentina tra infissi e finestre scorrevoli abbiamo richiesto assistenza per una normale manutenzione ma i rivenditori ufficiali si sono dileguati sostenendo che la stessa poteva essere fatta solo dall’azienda che ha fornito e montato il tutto a suo te, che intanto è fallita. Abbiamo installato serramenti e porte della Schuco a costi megagalattici e ci ritroviamo con un sacco di problemi, con finestre che si chiudono malamente e che periodicamente danno segni di malfunzionamento dei meccanismi che regolano l'apertura a vasistas ed altro... Esperienza negativa, anche perchè il fornitore (ben noto in zona) non ci da nessuna assistenza e non sappiamo a chi rivolgerci.

Not at all a reliable service, they were only on site every other day if that. They didn't follow the plans, built a door that wasn't square and there was a lack of communication. AVOID these cowboys and save yourself a lot of hassle and stress.

Beware - Possibly a Scam! I placed an order over a week ago, and I still haven’t received the item. The company has not provided any updates or tracking information, and there’s no way to contact. This lack of communication and transparency is very concerning. I’m starting to believe this might be a scam. I wish I could give this company zero stars. THIS IS THE WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH IN MY LIFE. Despite paying for a 24-hour response contract, their engineers rarely show up the next day, and in some cases, it takes 3 to 5 days for them to even attend the job – only to tell you that they need to order parts. This means you're left chasing them every single day for updates on when parts will arrive and when your machine will finally be operational again. IT'S BEEN AN ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE! I've had dryers out of order for months, and no one from JLA has followed up. All they do is say "someone will attend the shop when they can," but that never happens in any timely manner. Meanwhile, days, weeks, and even months pass, and I'm losing customers, losing money, and still paying for a service that doesn't fulfill its obligations. I sincerely hope no one ever has to experience what I went through with them. Avoid at all costs!

*Our Experience with JLA's Poor Service and Unfair Charges* We reported a fault with our dryer to JLA in September 2024. At the time, we were assured that the machine was under warranty. An engineer was sent out, diagnosed the issue, and informed us that parts were needed to complete the repair. A week later, when we followed up, we were suddenly told that while parts were covered under warranty, we had to pay for the callout and labor. We were invoiced £432.60 and told that the engineer would return once the payment was received. After numerous phone calls over two months of chasing JLA for updates, we were repeatedly told the parts were on order. The engineer finally arrived in late January, meaning our dryer had been out of service for over four months. To make matters worse, we were then informed that an additional part was required, and we were assured we would receive a call within a week. That call never came. Despite constant follow-ups and repeated promises of callbacks, no one ever got back to us. Instead, we received yet another invoice—this time for £1,011.79—covering an additional part, labor, and another callout. This was despite our warranty still being in place at the time of the initial callout. When we challenged the charge, we were told it was for an "extra part" and therefore a separate, chargeable repair. Over the past 10 days, we've spoken to multiple departments, only to be told that "credit control has it under query." Meanwhile, we are still waiting for a resolution, and our dryer remains out of service. Our experience with JLA has been appalling—misleading warranty claims, excessive delays, lack of communication, and unexpected charges. We strongly advise others to be extremely cautious when dealing with JLA to avoid similar frustration and unfair costs. This is the after sales you get after spending a small fortune with JLA. I'll keep you all posted with progress.

I purchased 2 washing machines paid them, within 24 hours decided to cancel the order and buy a roller ironer instead. They sent me email requesting the difference of payment paid for ×2 washers and roller ironer. Paid the difference within 48 hour's. All confirmed at the time. Roller ironer ordered by them, arrived in uk at their depo. In the meantime I had a ongoing issue to upgrade my gas meter. Because I couldn't receive a delivery they suggested that they'll put it in storage I agreed with them. A year later they asking me for another 1k from me on baseless email. I sent them all evidence of payments made to them Inc emails. It's ongoing matter, not resolved yet. A poor service with a negligence from their side.

Been waiting for over a week for a boiler repair. Had to close my business (bed and breakfast) due to no heating or hot water.

A truly awful company to deal with from start to (almost) finish. They sign you into a 96mth contract, even though most pubs now only offer 5 year leases, and the costs for these rise alarmingly over the progressing years. We took out a contract on a glasswasher washer for our new bar in February 2020, just before the pandemic struck. Even though the bar was closed for the next 18 months, we had to pay for a machine that had never been used, we were offered no payment relief from JLA throughout the whole period of the pandemic, subsequently the bar did not reopen and we now have a machine that has hardly been used. We have now come to the end of our lease at the pub and are coming out of the trade but JLA insist that the remainder of the contract must be paid in full, this totals over £6k! We are signed up to JLA Total Care 7, what a joke, should be called Totally Don't Care, had to wait nearly four weeks for a fix on a different glasswasher we have with them, sending out different engineers who didn't seem to know what they were doing. The customer portal hasn't worked since I don't know when, coupled with the fact that they seem to take random payments on random dates from our account, making it very difficult to keep on top of what is actually going on. Any publican thinking of using JLA, trust me, DON'T DO IT!

Absolutely woeful. Do not touch them. Set up a service plan to be told by an engineer the machines were not ones they service, waited weeks for parts so got it fixed by another company as was middle of peak season. Asked to cancel the service plan for obvious reasons and told they wouldn’t do that unless I paid for the full 5 years to terminate. The complaints department then followed up the issue 6 MONTHS LATER and set up servicing for this Monday with the assurance that it ‘100% will happen that day’. No one showed up! Today received a call to see if I wanted to acquire new machines from them. Absolutely laughable, and the sales team I was speaking to also found it hilarious which really helped matters. I repeat, do not touch them!

Very painful journey but got there in the end. Install date was moved, requested a call before installers came to make sure I was in but didn't get one. Full bill sent a few hours after issues were raised on a Friday evening with payment due the next day, Saturday (Never pay full until the full job is complete). Screws for the panels came through the side of the roof struts, wago clips used outside and told by installers it's fine, overflow pipe damaged, raised with isaac over email with photos who forgot some of the issues but after a lot of frustration eventually got him to fix things Warranty paperwork had the wrong name on, chased over email multiple times with no reply for weeks. They instantly replied when I got solar together involved that escalated the issue and then kept me updated, definitely shouldn't have to contact another company to get them to reply to emails

All went well and on time. Scaffold removed next day!!

Very pleased with the work carried out (18 solar panels, 6kw Inverter, 10kw Battery and EV charger). Up and running on the day of installation. Only one day to install the system. We then tested all devices for the next three days and everything was working fine. No snags. It’s February and the system is producing 75-80% of the electricity we use already. Wonderful.

06/02/ 2024 Solar Guy came with the panels installed them left same day did a Great job. Scaffolding still in place. Three Great Lads Liam, Ash and Leon came installed heaters.Left house tidy. Had to insist in the end for email's as the information I was getting, needed confirmation. Lots of cancelling's.Thats why only 4 * Thank you Liam ,Leon and Ash for your patience with me.

Install of solar / battery system went all to plan with no problems. All the guys were polite. helpful and tidy, even hoovered up. Special mention to the 2 chaps from Harwood elec who lugged an 107kg battery up the stairs. Functionally the system is 100%, no issues at all. Overall very pleased and would certainly recommend.

Labjack - great products, great product information and I hope great support (but I have yet to put it to the test which I guess is a good thing). Only thing that I would have changed in the buying process was a heads-up on the import duties, as the use I am making of the equipment (wastewater plant management) is actually import duty exempt - providing you make the import declaration correctly when you send it - meaning I could have avoided a $350 AUD import duty charge.

I bought 14 new excavator buckets Tooth buckets. Twelve for brand new E55R2 excavators and for w20 All Bobcats. 12” and 24” Just yesterday 4/24 a customer of mine used the first e55 with new rhinox tooth bucket to dig a small trench. All the bucket teeth broke off in less than two hours. The construction workers removed the bucket and drive 1.5 hrs away to get new teeth from Bobcat. I called Rhinox office here in the US sales and told him what happened and that the teeth were hollow all the way out to the tips. Rhinox guy told me they had several bad buckets go out with bad teeth and didn’t catch this. I asked him to ship me all new teeth for the 14 buckets, I would personally go out to six different locations in four states and change these teeth out with the new correct ones and return all those that came on the new buckets. Then Rhinox could inspect and deal with those retuned teeth in house. He immediately said no. I told him that when a contractor is down for four or five hours plus had to go buy new teeth on a brand new bucket it’s a five hundred plus dollar loss/cost. Now imagine if every new bucket just shipped out to these various job sites all have these same junk braking teeth issues what kind of cost I cause my customer and headache by using this Rhinox brand buckets. We’ve never had any of these issues with John Deere or bobcat bucket teeth. We can usually get two months on a set of teeth. These teeth are breaking off att the end. Not coming loose and the pins falling out, simply snapping like a twig. I’m hoping Rhinox does the right thing, sends me all new replacement teeth and I’ll go change all them out. Or I’d like to send all 14 new excavator buckets back for a full refund and I’ll buy buckets new from Bobcat.

The best way to judge a company is when something goes wrong. Nothing in life is perfect and things do go wrong. Had a rther expensive item from these guys and it failed, so what did they do?, sent me a new one after seeing photos and didnt even want me to return the faulty item... brilliant. In contrast if you are reading this I bought and item 7 weeks ago from Charles and Ivy and about 5 weeks ago part of it arrived (they quoted 3 days) still trying to get the rest so i can use it. Basically the difference between craking good and really bad customer service

Anti Fungus Paint ordered for a bathroom used by 3 tenants. None of my tenants are capable of opening a window (the house has central heating so the 'it's too cold excuse' is not a reasonable excuse). Even though there is a good quality extractor fan in the 1.6 x 1.9 bathroom, naturally mould starts to form on the ceiling and around the window (particularly on cold spots). I've cleaned it numerous times but needed something to prevent it from coming back so after some research I discovered Glixtone Anti-Fungal paint. It has loads of great reviews so I thought I'd give it a go. I ordered it from Holman Specialist Paint as they had it at the best price. The paint arrived on time and well packaged. The ceiling and around the window have now been painted for about a week and so far so good. The paint does go on really nicely, oh anyone doing this should clean the area with sterilizer Glixtone do their own but in theory you can use any sterilizing solution. It does say on the can that 1 litre covers up to 13M2 I managed 2 coats equalling 6m2 and ended up with a splash of paint left in the can.

Strata did a top notch job, they used every opportunity in the weather to deliver the work as fast as possible. The site team were really polite and hard working. The house looks great and I can already feel the difference, the level of outside noise has dropped sifgnificantly and when I stepped out of the house I realised how cold was outside compared to in. The best thing though is they didn't push as sale, they recommended I get a independent check of the house to make sure the render would work and communicate promptly through the whole process.
