Absolute black tiles

Bought Absolute Black tiles for kitchen. It was a absolute tragedy. The 8x2 tile broke into pieces while laying. It took at least 1 week to respond and provided a layer and bought another piece to replace. Though the layer is professional but the attitude of the company is horrible. I personally do not recommend this brand

Poor communication

As mentioned in previous reviews, their communication is shocking. This will lead to failed deliveries which will be framed as your fault & then they will force you to pay redelivery fees or only offer a partial refund. Tried this company a few times but will be moving back to an alternative.

Why you should not waste time with large companies.

This is the first time I have dealt with this company and it will not be the last. Their prices were extremely competetive (ie cheaper) when compared with the Amazon's and B&Q's of this world. The service I received was impeccable. I was able to speak to a very helpful lady who answered the phone quickly (no recorded messages quoting Covid excuses, unlike Google product support who have closed shop completely). I would encourage anyone looking for storage and associated products to visit their website at StoragenStuff.co.uk Despite being a small business it knocks spots off other companies.

Whitmoore Custom Homes Temporarily Shutdown

I am a customer of Whitmoore Custom Homes. The company has been temporarily shutdown. The owner removed the name WHITMOORE from this site and other sites to try to hide from all of the negative reviews and collection agencies. Their business listing and web site have been taken down. Their office in Garland, Texas is closed but they still have properties on Caprock in Sunnyvale, Texas under construction. Their job sites are dirty and the wind blows their trash everywhere. The quality is well below average and they do not install any landscaping even though you paid for it. Over a year later and I am still dealing with costly air conditioning problems.

I'm losing my patience with this house

I'm losing my patience with this house. It's been nothing but one big headache. Problem after problem. I'm so stressed out. I can tell you that Whitmoore Custom Homes builds a very low quality and problem prone house. Plumbing problems like 2 different water leaks and weekly clogged drains. The walls are suffering from something called nail pops. That's when the house wasn't built right and the nails holding the dry wall on start working their way through the dry wall or out of it. I'm pretty sure all of the windows need to be replaced. they don't open and close with ease and you can feel a huge temperature difference when near them. The house is pretty much brand new. Do your research and ask for references. You will learn a lot from an an online search about this business.

Fake pictures on web site. Not their work.

Oh my. Their website is not fooling anyone. Its covered with pictures of homes they did not build. my friend had a McMansion built by Whitmoore Custom Homes. Wow, what a mistake that turned out to be. 2 years later the house still is not finished. Imagine waiting 2 years on a builder when he promised less than 1? That schedule screwed my friend on the mortgage. Interest rates are back up. Whitmoore Custom Homes is doing their best to trick him into signing off that the house is finished but its still not. Every unfinished or incorrectly done item is a fight with this obnoxious company. Don’t be naive. Check his references and inspect his past work. Ask him to take you to the houses pictured on the site. He will probably never call you back or change the pictures. Its builders like this that give all contractors a bad rep.

Excellent service from Terracotta Property

Charlie at Terracotta Property provided us a first class valuation service. Communication was excellent, and the inspection was quickly arranged. The turnaround for the valuation report was as agreed, and the quality of the report was very high with comparable transactions provided, and helpful analysis included as to how the valuation was arrived at. This superior service was provided for a very reasonable and competitive cost. So impressed was I of the service, that I am considering asking them to provide project management services to a potential re development of a family home. I would highly recommend using Terracotta Property for all your property needs.

Avoid this company!!!

This is a company to be avoided. They are lazy. My property has a garage, the surveyor did not ask for access bit nevertheless stated in his report that the garage was dilapidated - even though it is far from dilapidated with modern working electrics with a sound roof and solid structure. Their comparables are awfull, my house is a semi detached but they used only terraced properties for their comparables. If your bank instructs this firm you should request that your bank provide an alternative. They also tell lies, they will say they have spoken to local agents but this is a lie because I spoke to the local agents and sent them the emails whereas they will say they have spoken to local agents without any evidence of having done so. Edited 14/10/2024 after a response from Terracotta The fact remains that you described the garage as dilapidated without stating a single issue that was actually wrong with the garage I.E a leaking roof or decaying structure etc for example. You did not ask for access to the garage and even now you still can not say precisely what was wrong with the garage - this proves I am right - you are lazy for not entering the garage and you tell lies because you still can not point to a single issue that backs up your description of the word dilapidated. You also stated that the property will lose value because of its proximity to a halfway house hostel however the said hostel houses people with mental health issues. Mental health is often classed as a disability which in turn is a protected characteristic therefore it appears to me that you have discriminated against a protected group of people and I will be taking this up with your professional board who oversee you.

They were trying to remover a bad feedback making out its against the wrong company. Shame on you. Update I am the bill payer. Lie after lie, I am the bill payer. The surveyor stated he would pop in the next day if he needed to get access to the room as it was not a problem for him, Nothing happened. The bank never told them to put it on hold, they contacted the bank re access to the room, and received no reply so sat on the report and did nothing till I chased. The bank then told them to send it it, they dragged the time out from what they had told me 5 days, I did not swear at Charlie, he was very rude and I put the phone down as I was not going to be spoken to in that manor. Try before you buy!

I have to admit, I was a little sceptical after reading reviews about Riverside! We had however, been recommended by two of our neighbours so thought we would at least visit and get a feel for the place, and I am so glad that we did!! From our initial showroom visit with Margaret who helped us choose styles and colours, to Mark bringing our ideas together with the design process creating a visual on his computer, to Lauren in the office who was only too happy to help with any queries that we had. 7 Weeks later works began with Alex removing the existing Kitchen and plastering in-between the Electrician doing his bit, two days later once the plaster was dry the Kitchen was delivered. Ryan the Kitchen fitter arrived and began working straight away barely stopping for the duration of his stay and was an absolute pleasure to have in our home. Prestige Granite completing the transformation by installing our bright white quartz worktops! One hiccup - Our cutlery tray was nowhere to be seen, one phone call to the office & two days later it was delivered to us by a gentleman on his way home! I do wonder how many of the reviews on this page are actually genuine, we couldn't fault this company! And if you are still unsure, ask them to view our Kitchen, you would be more than welcome.

Everything is then contracted out. When things go wrong it's everybody else's fault. Lies lies lies. Update. They finally sent someone out to fix the door. Took months but better late then never. Even so I would still not recommend. There were many snags with the kitchen that should not have happened in the first place.

Poor quality units, kitchen fitting absolutely awful

Our experience with Riverside Kitchens was a nightmare from start to finish. The design looked great. However, in reality the products are very poor quality, the fitting absolutely awful and the customer service dreadful. They lie constantly - make promises and don't deliver. We have a very expensive kitchen that we will need to replace. The fitting is just awful - the units aren't lined up properly, the doors aren't fitted correctly, the cuts are poor - an absolutely amateur job. The only positive is the Granite that was supplied by Prestige Granite. Don't waste your time, money and energy on this company.

Don't go there.

My wife was recommended Northwich Kitchens by a lady she cleans for in a flat in Winnington. So we rang them and John promptly came round, Measured up and gave us a price.Tony from the company came round a week later to confirm measurments e.t.c. He said some measurments were wrong and John thought we were using our old oven and microwave into our new kitchen,How stupid was that ! When the plasterer came he was very arragant as he thought he was only going to skim the kitchen and not the dining area also. The electrician Aggy was fantastic also the plumber and the fitter Rob was outstanding and the Granite people were faultless. The fault with the company lies with the people in charge John and Tony who dont communicate with each other when we had to ring and visit the showroom on numerous occasions to finish the job properly by boxing in some pipework which should have been done by the plasterer. We are still waiting for someone to put an air vent in one of the kickboards for the hob. Overall we would recommend anyone looking for a new kitchen to shop around first and read reviews.

Threatened to be dragged out

After purchasing some units for an extension that was built they sent the incorrect doors. After nearly two months of promises that I would get a resolution or even a call back I recieved neither. I spoke to Mark in Warrington and told him I would come to the showroom and perhaps then I could get some resolution to my issue. I was told that I would be "dragged out" if I arrived. As a customer who has the incorrect doors which is Riversides fault, who has not had a single call back and has wiated for over two months I feel entitled to be frustrated. The considered repsonse from Riverside is to threaten you with physical violence. If you buy from them and everything goes well you're lucky. God fobid something goes wrong because you'll get little or no follow up or remediation and if you're really angry you're likely to get threatened. I do not reccomend that you use this company unless you feel lucky.

Customer Service is appalling. Go elsehwere.

We have been ordering from Precision Technologies Supplies for over a decade and I have been told they no longer want our business as our orders are too small. We work in the Aerospace industry and have the need for same batch parts at smaller quantities. This never seemed a problem in the past but after a very rude phone call from one of their managers telling me they no longer want to deal with my request for same batch parts. I would definitely say do not work with this company. Unless of course you spend what the manager thinks is a good amount to receive good service. If you place orders from the website and do not ask questions of there sales team then you will be fine. There are plenty of companies out there and if I were you I would give them a try first.

I ordered some machine screws from this company that I was unable to find elsewhere. Fast delivery and an honest refund of a duplicate payment I made unawares when the website froze, earns them a thumbs up from me. My only gripe would be that postage costs are a bit much for small items like a packet of screws. Other than that I'm happy and would use them again.

Cavity Wall Insulation

My next door neighbour had his cavity wall insulation completed at a cost of £2,000 so i contacted them for a quote. I called their office and they took my details and said the surveyor would be in touch. One month later they contacted me to arrange a survey. He completed the survey and then told me it would cost £4,000 which obviously i questioned as the next door property is not that different to mine in size and he said he would look into it and let me know. One month later i had to chase for an answer, but there were no notes on my file and would need to look into it. On calling me back they said the reason for the price difference was the size of property, which i replied my property is not another half the size of next door. At this point i told them to forget it, you try to give local business a chance and that's what you get. The customer service is disgraceful and can understand their review score, If there was a minus i would go there!

Think I have been conned with a Roksan Attessa turntable.

Having experienced awful tone arm problems with this turntable it went back to Richer Sounds who made a complete mess of it. Roksan had it also and told me they replaced the lifter which was problematic by taking far too long to cue due to a bent lifter. Having this back it is in the same condition but worse. The tone arm just hangs because the lifter being bent from purchase makes it almost impossible to cue properly. I thought it was too good to be true. Today 14/11 After a while I decided to set this turntable up on a new amp. I have the same problem occurring again. The tonearm just hangs and will not drop onto the record. I am also very dubious everything they said that was replaced wasn't. I now have a turntable faulty again and out of warranty. It cannot be used by hand as the fingerlift is too small. Very dissapointed and I feel really ripped off here. This is one of the worst expensive deck I have ever used. Every time I want to cue the lifter to play a record I have to pull the tone arm forward to make it lower. Unbelievable. One HIFI shop I visited recently explaining about this while looking to replace told me it was a dreadfully designed turntable. AVOID if you don't want ptoblems.

Demo King

This Company Doesn't Know What They're Doing amd They Don't Pay Their Contractors

We have not been paid by this company and the outstanding invoice is now more than 90 days delinquent. My solar company was contracted by Demo King Solar to perform a service call for one of their clients who was sold outside of the market they physically operate within (We are in Texas and they are in DC). We were tasked to troubleshoot a solar panel and microinverter to determine which part was faulty. We completed our voltage tests as per manufacturer recommendations and took and submitted photos of the different steps we took during the inspection. It was initially determined that the solar panel was bad so one was RMA'd and the new panel was replaced during a separate visit once it was shipped/received. After installing and testing the panel, it was discovered that the panel microinverter was bad and not the panel. While onsite, we contacted Demo King and the inverter manufacturer to go through troubleshooting so that the inverter could be RMA'd. Once technical support agreed that the microinverter was bad and needed to be replaced through warranty, we were never spoken to again by Demo King or its employees Mike and Joel Though our company followed the troubleshooting procedure as per the manufacturers recommendations, and even had technical support varify the steps we took to test and inspect the equipment while we were onsite, Demo King Solar stopped responding to our calls and emails after we performed the work and they have yet to pay the invoice and the amount they agreed to for the service we provided. ***It's incredibly important for me to note that we were initially asked to RMA a solar panel. After an agreement was reached and our technician was on-site, were were asked by Mike, from Demo King, to give him a call. At that time, they changed the scope of work over the phone and requested additional troubleshooting to take place while we were on site. We did so on behalf of the homeowner, who had been waiting months for this issue to be resolved. This is the first and only time a sales partner has performed a "bait and switch" on our company in the five years we've been in business.

Pay for there mistake not fair.

Looking for solar I got a text from Demo King Solar. They gave me the best price. I got back to them and discussed where the panels would go and how many. I also told them I had many other people come out and gave me prices. All the other company's said the tree next to the garage had to go. Plus all others said 19 400kw panels. These guys started out with 19 panels then changed to 15 panels. I had to pry another panel out of them. Back to the tree. They told me the tree was fine and sent out a inspector. Inspector said tree was no problem. So I went ahead and gave them a deposit. 3 months went by and still no solar. Meantime the tree has bloomed. AS I told them from day one the tree is blocking my roof by noon time. I told them about this and took photos. They said they noted and see if they could trim tree. Never mentioned to me I had to pay for a trim. I pushed the issue a few times since. Once they got permits and all was set to install they said tree was my problem and suggested I go ahead with panels and later down the rode get the tree removed. I replied I am a senior and I am on a fixed income. There is no way I could pay another 4 thousand dollars for a tree. I told them this was on them since they ignored the tree the whole time and it was there job to check for trees. Remember they had a inspector come out and told me tree is a non issue. Now its another 4000.00 that I dont have. Since I had to cancel the order for there oversight they charged me 700.00. Not a happy guy to pay for others mistake.

Unprofessional, NOT worth it

I signed up and paid almost $1,000 to have someone trade an account for me, trader "AD." AD and I had great communication about how the account would be run and communication stopped when trading was supposedly about to begin. However, AD ended up leaving the company shortly before and my account was supposedly given to a new trader without my knowledge. I got NO COMMUNICATION from the company or new trader regarding this change, the account, or the upcoming challenge except for a contract emailed from the founder himself for me to sign and send back also not specifying the information about the departure. The contract was for terms for what I paid for, a challenge account managed by AD. After two weeks of radio silence, I emailed the founder via the contact reply email about how I got no information or communication from anyone and asked if/when trading would begin. I got a reply email back with no greeting or signature, just a link and the statement "Here is the link." After clicking, the link brought me to a page with my supposed account overview. Not only did the trading start without my knowledge, but the trading had also ended because the new trader FAILED the challenge. Therefore, I did not see any live trading on the account, I do not know the name of who traded the account, and no one involved told me when anything started or was happening. I found out later from another person who had an account that was managed by AD, that AD left the company before trading began, and this person was given a refund since the account was not being managed by who they paid for. When I asked the founder why I was not informed about anything BEFORE the contract was sent because I specifically paid for AD to trade my account, I was told that, and I am not making this up or kidding, that the founder talked with someone who they thought was my significant other and this person gave permission. Not only is this unprofessional and an invasion of personal space, but I am not married and I live by myself. I am the sole owner of the account, and I paid with my own money/card. I used my personal cell phone as contact. There is no mention of a significant other in anything that I have given the company. Therefore, they proceeded to continue their actions without contacting me because they contacted someone who had NO RIGHT LEGALLY to any of my affairs. This is not only immoral, but ILLEGAL. The link with a still of the account fail overview which I don't even know if it is real or not or if this is sent to everyone who trusts this company with a paid account. I would not recommend. I did not get a refund. With my experience, this could very well be a scam.

Vi har 5 håndtag Ruko 7810

Hvordan nustiller man koden? Factory reset?

ældre end to år gamle. Surt show for mig og Ruko vil intet gøre.

Skriver sjældent anmeldelser her.

Wiki Chemicals Caluanie Muelear Oxidize

I found Wiki Chemicals LTD on Google, I conversed on Whatsapp with the so called Mr James who had regular grammar mistakes. On the website (and James) portrayed their company as a US manufacturer of the illusive product Caluanie Muelear Oxidize, presumably used for processing precious metals by mining industries. I ordered one litre of this mystic product for $950 USD that included the air freight & transport charges to Muscat, Oman. Soon after making payment via crypto currency, I was emailed by a Mr John  Whitlock (the Overseas Logistics Director) from the TRANS PACIFIC INTEGRATED LOGISTICS Inc and I was supplied with a tracking number to trace and locate the order. The site looked legitimate with offices in Europe, USA, Brazil, Malaysia etc and the tracking status of the product was live showing the transport flight schedule from Los Angeles to Paris and then to its final destination to Oman. In brief, I realised both the logistics and the Wiki Chemicals were actually one individual/ group communicating from two different sites tricking me into this Scam. The cargo would claim that the order has arrived to Paris’s Customs but it is on hold requiring certain Non Toxic Export Declarations and documents for clearance processes which would cost an extra $1875 USD. Deceived by the live shipping status and the documents and certificates forged, I foolishly paid the extra $1875 via Tether crypto currency for the clearance at the French customs. Indeed the order was never cleared and under a different pretext they would soon request for a further €1430 Euro. I did not off course make any further payment as I knew the delivery would have never been made. After being scammed, I began a extensive search to find that all documents & certificates offered by these so called suppliers and manufacturers of Caluanie are all fake and are nothing but a network of professional scammers. In fact this illusive product does not even exist and it is cunningly designed by a network of scammers that synergistically work from different locations under different company names to cheat you out of money.

This company is a SCAM. A friend asked me to purchase this product for a friend of hers. I spent 2-3 hours chatting on their website and researching them. This company is not registered with the CA Secretary of State. They only take payment through Bitcoin, Zelle, or bank transfer. I asked they send me some sort of verification of their legitimacy. Was emailed a certificate of their approval from some sort of Chemical Verification Company, and the certificate looked legit. I contacted the certification company, and they had no recognition or information on Caluminemuelear USA. The certificate was a scam. I looked at 4-5 other companies that sell this chemical, and they are all scams. Some even have misspelled words on their website. I did scam searches on all of them and finally settled on one that had an 80% approval on a Scam Advisor site. I Zelled $1,000.00. I was immediately contacted by email that now I had to pay shipping costs that amounted to about $1,000.00. The third party shipping company had the same address as the sales company. Needless to say, I am out $1K, and feel like a dumbass even after all of the research I did.

Buyer beware

Buyer beware. 2-3 Years ago I decided to replace the 40 year old Saylor Beall 9000 that has been running my body shop since 1991(it was used when we got it). I contacted a dealer and they sold me a Kaishan rotary screw compressor. Almost immediately I had buyers remorse. My power bill increased by 25% and quarterly service is 5 times than what I was paying on a piston unit. So much that I decided the money I saved doing service myself would offset the cost of a new compressor in just 2.5 years. Now here I am, already down, running oil a rental and buying diesel every 2 days shopping around for another new compressor. Kaishan refuse to sell parts to my repair company because they aren't an authorized dealer and the dealer I used is no longer a Kaishan dealer(their customer serve turned out to be terrible after the sale as well). I will be selling this as a used machine in need of repair, cutting my losses and buying an American made piston machine. Don't make the same mistake I made & steer clear of Kaishan.

Stone age business model

It took GAS UK over a month to deliver the cylinder I ordered. I've now emptied it and when trying to return it they're charging me a non-refundable £25+VAT for the collection of the empty cylinder or I'm free to walk-in their warehouse to return it, which just so happens to be in the middle of nowhere. None of this is mentioned in their T&Cs. Wait times to talk to their Customer Service are 1 hour + and they're not customer-oriented at all. This is a poor business model, it's a wonder this company continues to operate. Someone in their upper management should get sacked and replaced with a forward-thinking 21st century individual. PS. Scrap that website of yours as well and re-do it completely, it's painful to watch and navigate in this day and age.

We moved into our house

We moved into our house, and after sleeping here for two nights I knew we had to replace the furnace by the sounds that woke me up both nights, it sounded like a jet engine ready for take off! I called the local company to come give me a bid, and then had to replace the furnace in the house we were selling, the company gave us a break on the prices of both home units as we were obviously giving them good business. I had an issue with one of the units within a year of installation. called the company and they came out and charged me to replace the part and for the part. Even with my having a service contract with them. A year later the same issue was happening again. I looked online for reputable companies and found Four Seasons, The technician came out and within 10 minutes of arrival had the problem fixed without a new part, but 10 cents of silicon sealer. He said he was familiar with the other company, and knew that many companies worked that way. "Sell a new part don't fix the problem, just replace it." I have been very happy with Four Seasons I cancelled the service contract with the other company and started one with Four Seasons. They come out twice a year and check the HVAC system focusing on either the furnace side or the AC side depending on the season coming up. They always double check with us about the other part of the system making sure it has no issues we are aware of. Then they look at the current side of the system tuning it up and repairing anything they find. I have had three servicemen out over the years and they remember me, and our dog. they are friendly, very knowledgeable efficient and helpful.

I have two recently installed A/C & Furnace units - one installed by Four Seasons and one installed by Doornbos. The experience working with the two companies is night and day. Doornbos guys knew what they were doing and went out of their way to offer great customer service across the board. I'm calling them now to fix the problems with the Four Seasons installation. One additional note - the tech they sent to assess the problem was great. Really nice guy. It was the folks above him trying to avoid paying to fix the installer's mistakes.

Literally the worst experience you…

Literally the worst experience you could have!!! COMPLETE FRAUD!!!!! First the back story, my wife and I run a non-profit for adults with special needs and this is a house that is being built for them to occupy 1) the tech comes out and give some insane quote of $2700 to fix a few things, A) a small leak in the basement that he quoted me AROUND $900 to fix, turned out to the a shut off valve in the ceiling that was not completely closed, I removed the ceiling tile and closed and done. B) after the tech gives my wife the quote for $2700 she says ok, let me call my husband, he replies "what you cannot make a decision on your own" just bad business and was the first reason I asked him to leave and called the company C) tech was sent out to clean the AC unit on special for $89, I was told this was a scam by everyone and they only do this to upsell other things, I booked anyways and what happened is the reason for this post, tech said the unit had a bad contactor and mice had been inside the unit which is why it would not turn on, as protocol tech is supposed to take pictures of this to show the company as a way of documenting this, tech did not do this. At this point with insulting my wife and the outrageous estimate I asked him to leave. I called a few friends and got a referral for another AC guy and he was shocked to find out what was wrong, the unit was perfect and the issue was the low voltage wire (the one that turns the unit on) WAS CUT, perfectly cut and hanging no other issues as when he touched the wire to the spot it belonged the unit turned on instantly, 3 minute to reattach the wire and its working perfectly. I place another call to four seasons and get a manager who begins to tell me how I must be making this up and how it could not happen, the offer no repercussions for the tech and I am left paying $150 for another company to fix his SCAM. I never write stuff like this but just go somewhere else!!!!!!!!!

Buyer Beware

I have two furnaces in my home - one that heats the upstairs and a bigger one that heats the lower level. I only wanted the upstairs furnace cleaned and the downstairs furnace to be looked at because it was being wonky. I called Four Seasons Heating and Cooling and scheduled an appointment shortly before Thanksgiving. When the technician arrived, I showed him the lay of the land, told him the issues, and left him downstairs to look over the furnace (big mistake.) When he was done with his analysis he gave me this long spiel and showed me things that were wrong and that he could "pass" the furnace but "just barely." Whatever he did, and I didn't ask, the furnace was working. He didn't tell me about any parts that needed to be replaced, so I figured that it would just be added to the service fee. (The kicker to this is at the end of the story.) We then launched into a discussion about the furnace and its age and that at some point I probably would need to get a new furnace and if I did I would just get both upstairs and downstairs replaced to save on labor costs. We also discussed costs of new furnaces etc., just so I could get an idea of what to expect when the time came in the future. And funny enough while we were having a discussion about the furnace, the sales guy called to see how everything was going. It did raise a little bit a warning bell in my mind, but by that point, the hook was already in, and the technician told me that the sales department just likes to check up on service calls as part of their customer service program. When he went upstairs to "clean" my furnace, he took the whole thing apart - the furnace's guts were all over the hallway, in other words. And by that time, I already stupidly trusted the guy. When he was done with his analysis of the upstairs furnace, he told me I needed to have some parts replaced and it was going to cost a little over $700. Now, mind you, I only wanted it cleaned but his super extra detailed inspection revealed that all these things needed to be replaced. So, instead of spending $700, and because I figured I was going to have to get the downstairs furnace replaced anyway, I thought we should just get two new furnaces. I'm not going to get into the disaster of the financing and it doesn't matter if we couldn't get approved for the financing "they" wanted. In fact, it's a blessing that we didn't. At some point while the technician was still here, the downstairs furnace kicked off but it never kicked back on after the guy left. But he did go back downstairs to gather up his things before he left after the quick financing didn't go through while he was still here (that's another story for another day - the point of this is he went back downstairs.) As it turns out, we didn't need two new furnaces at $10,985 (upstairs) and $13,535 (downstairs) with some discounts that brought the total price down to $22,530. Several weeks later, I called another company and told them I needed the downstairs furnace looked at because it was wonky and the upstairs furnace cleaned (because Four Seasons never cleaned that furnace,) just like I told Four Seasons. This guy came out and fixed my downstairs furnace. And he figured it out in about a half hour. It could've been the entire motor that would had to have been replaced, but instead, it was the part that ignites the motor (capacitor) that was malfunctioning. In fact, it was completely dead. He replaced it and the furnace works perfectly. How much was this part? $28. He also told me there was another good 4-5 years on the furnace. And as far as the upstairs furnace? He inspected it, cleaned it, and it's working perfectly fine as well. And he didn't have to dissect the furnace and put all of its guts down the hallway. He also put in a new filter on my humidifier and new filters in both furnaces, something Four Seasons didn't do because they didn't carry filters. My total bill was $207. Big difference between 22 grand and 200 bucks. I find it hard to believe that the "thorough inspection" of that downstairs unit by Four Seasons Heating and Cooling wouldn't have revealed that the furnace had a faulty capacitor especially after the Four Seasons technician brought me down there and gave me this long demonstration of various things that were wrong with my furnace and then proceed to tell me that although he would pass it, he strongly suggested I get additional carbon monoxide detectors. I was going to start this review by saying if there was a company that exemplified fraudulent and deceptive practices it would be Four Seasons Heating and Cooling but I think it's more apropos to put it at the end of the story. There are many other things I could list about my experience with this company but I think what I've described above suffices.

During the recent heat wave here in Chicago my old AC finally gave way. Had Four Seasons out for a replacement, but the tech was also kind enough to quote a repair to get u back up and running if we wanted. It was so annoying that the installers just left all the trash in the area. The company should train their people with basic courtesy and respect and clean up after and make it a part of their job. I was already surprised by how impolite they were upon arriving but I let it go as long as they do their job right.

What an absolute joke of an employer

What an absolute joke of an employer. Would not even be bothered to even give one star but have to. Had interview, was told there and then job would be mine, signed contract. Went for first day, sent home due to reasons which had already been told about. Waited at home for a week and a half to be called by some occupational health, a third party who does not know me and my physical capabilities. A day later some individual calling chatting away about not being able to make adjustments to employ me. When I do not need any adjustments, having a third party report basically stating I am unable to do the job, the third party does not know my physical capabilities so how can they judge, total discrimination straight away. Would not recommend this employer, should have read previous reviews, seems like a company who discriminates against people with a disability, that does not affect their work or skill set. No opportunities given at all. My knowledge base must be a lot high than these individuals, when went for interview, interviewee did not have a clue what to say or ask, basic management skills do not seem to be known about. Not a disability confident company.

Thermostats that dont work.

I have spent quite a lot of money with Polypipe over the past 20 years having a large 5 bedroomed house installed with underfloor heating & associated equipment. I have up graded the ground floor heating after having a couple of extensions built about 5 years ago so I needed to extend the underfloor heating to other rooms. I also bought new manifolds & TFT thermostats, heating pumps, these haven't worked properly from day one. The Stats are inaccurate to +/- 4 deg which is ridiculous. Even the time clock on them gains 4 minutes per month so they are no use as a clock let alone a thermostat. Polypipe came out & re-calibrated them some time ago whilst still under warranty, but they are now no use or ornament, expensive for what you are buying & certainly not fit for purpose. I am now having to go to the trouble of having all the stats changed & altered to how they should be by another manufacturer, new actuators installed as these also didn't work either & its going to cost quite a few thousand. I'm in the trade & wouldn't touch polypipe ever again, expensive rubbish & no aftersales service whatsoever as when i rang them they didn't want to know.

The thermostat is totally unusable

The thermostat is totally unusable. It's needlessly complicated, over engineered and it doesn't work as described. The user manuals are hopelessly brief and unhelpful. Have spent countless hours online trying to figure it out and I am in tears of frustration. All I want to do is set the temperature and it's like trying to fly a rocket ship where all the controls are in hieroglyphics, but not helpful ones. It asks for a date! Why? Why would a thermostat need to know the date? All I want is to set the temperature, I can adjust it if necessary, I don't want to set a different temperature for every minute of the year. But even if you take the time to learn it, it simply doesn't work as it's supposed to. It is an awful design. Avoid at all costs.

Home heating technical advice

I'm a home owner - spoke to Technical Support for help with their UFH heating automation. Very impressed. A) they answer the phone! B) very helpful and clear in advice C) warm and friendly manner. Spoke to 2-3 different people, so not a 'one-off'. Recommended.

Possibly the worst after sales/customer…

Possibly the worst after sales/customer service I’ve ever known Went to the underfloor heating course which to be fair I enjoyed and I told them I wanted my whole downstairs radiator free and would ufh keep us warm?the reply was yes definitely and that it was the best product on the market We were shown how to lay it and set it up Skip forward to many thousands of pounds later and the floor laid and commissioned Floor just not doing what it’s meant to be Customer service on the phone and email just downright appalling, accepting no responsibility whatsoever However I spoke to a senior engineer who claim my manifold was installed too close to my boiler (nothing mentioned on course or instructions)and that if I fitted a bypass valve then that would fix our issue To be fair the engineer came to site to take a look and claimed it’s fine and it works fine This however was summer months so I couldn’t really tell Fast forward to now where the heating has gone on and I’d say there’s more heat with candles Emailed them back and they responded a couple of times but now completely blank me The engineer did call once and blamed me saying the boiler was too close to the manifold I explained that he told me to fit a bypass valve and all would be good His response was “you needed it fitted by a competent person and not you)even though we’d been on the course I’ve since got an ufh engineer in who said the boiler being too close to the manifold is bs and give me some pointers which hopefully work Stay clear of Polypipe unless they can pick up their game in customer service I don’t expect to spend over £4k with them to be spoken down to like I’m a nobody Awful company and wish I’d have used another ufh product

Rubbish products and total lack of customer service

Purchased a 20mm MDPE to 15mm pushfit stopcock over a year ago. One day it let go and flooded my kitchen so I put it down to bad luck and bought another. Now that one is weeping water from exactly the same place as the first one broke and the water has damaged my new wooden floor in the kitchen. Called technical help a couple of months ago asking for an explanation and an alternative. Had a long chat with someone about it and left my details but nobody has bothered to get back to me. Shocking customer service and over £50 spent on 2 identically poor products. I’ll buy another brand from now on.

Abysmal, non existent customer service!

After 6 weeks of trying to make contact I am still waiting for a response from Polypipe technical support! I ha e called, emailed and used live chat, all without success. I have installed over 80m² of overlay plus underfloor heating with ceramic tiling over. Everything has been installed in accordance with their written instructions but I now have numerous tiles lifting and popping in high traffic areas. According to the tiling contractor, the overlay plus boards are compressing under the weight of the tiles, breaking the bond between the tiles and boards. All this before the heating has been switched on, so what happens then is anyone's guess!! I have now made contact in writing giving them a final 7 days before instructing my company solicitor to instigate proceedings to recover the costs involved in completely ripping out the polypipe system and replacing it with another manufacturer's system. As kitchens and bathrooms etc have been installed over the tiled floors, the cost of this will be in excess of £30k, excluding any temporary accommodation expenses and compensation! If they had the decency to respond to my contact requests, they may have been able to resolve the issue far more easily! Reportedly making all of their underfloor heating sales representatives redundant may be very telling....

Initial design work was excellent UNTIL !!

Initial design work was excellent until it was time to install. Incorrect design resulting in incorrect material. I had to chase around looking for the right material and poly pipe would not pay for my inconvenience in sourcing the material or the wasted time for the plumber trying to install the incorrect pipework. This accounted to £140 ON A £13,700 ORDER!!!

Underfloor Heating Mixing Valve.

I had a Polypipe underfloor heating mixing valve (p/n PB970055) fail. I'm sure you are aware these valves operate the most basic engineering principles, if it's not stopped working as a result of sludge (mine hadn't), then all that can really fail is the thermostatic cartridge section, so that's what I set out to source, to discover Polypipe never made a service kit for this valve. I find that an odd manufacturing decision, BUT total credit to Polypipe, they were quick to explain the situation and very quick to send out a replacement valve using first class mail. Super customer support, thank you Polypipe.

Zig-faches hin und her schreiben.
