No tiles in stock despite website saying they were

Spent ages choosing between two beautiful looking tiles which the website told me were in stock... after placing the order was informed neither were actually in stock and given some vague dates when they would aim to deliver them by. As I needed the tiles for a specific week when our builders would be tiling, I had to cancel the order and go to another company. Really should update the website to accurately reflect what is in stock or not as this will save people time in ordering and having to cancel/look elsewhere. Have two stars as the customer service in cancelling the order promptly was good and no issues getting through.

Smooth transaction. No complaints

Was hesitant about buying after seeing some of the reviews on here but took the chance. No issues at all. Ordered Monday 22nd, site allowed me to select delivery date, chose 29th and that is when my tiles arrived. Looking forward to getting them installed. Thank you Porcelain Superstore.

Excellent tiles in great condition and delivered on time

I was really concerned about ordering the tiles I loved after reading some of these reviews. However, I took the chance and had no problems, I paid for the express delivery (£50) and my tiles turned up on the day I’d selected (two days later). I did call the company to check they had my tiles in stock before ordering to ensure no delays. There was limited communication around delivery however, I phoned to check the morning of and they confirmed delivery would be that day any time between 8am and 6pm. Tiles turned up at 3pm. Don’t necessarily let all the bad reviews put you off.

Excellent experience, will use again

I was quite nervous when I saw the mixed reviews about this shop. I rely on Trustpilot a lot so that was a big thing for me. I couldn't really find what I was looking for elsewhere so I decided to give it a go. I received a 5 stars service and it went all smoothly. The tiles I received where in the manufacturer's original packaging, the boxes themselves secured on a pallet delivered by the transporter to my doorstep. I don't know why other people had a bad experience, may be the company struggled like many others during COVID. Anyway, I did my homework to minimise risk, I ordered a sample which i received quickly. I then call them to check they had the tiles in stock. I was told that was one of their most popular product so they stored hundreds of sqm tiles in their facility. I was short in time so I paid for a £50 2-days delivery service which arrived as said. The only thing is there was no communication from the transporter or tracking number. I called the store to check the delivery was still on schedule (which it was) The delivery guy turned up with no notice but I was at home so that was OK. Thank you.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Made a large order and we were 1 tile short for the install. They demanded the same delivery charge as the large order for 1 tile. When the tile came, it was the wrong size and their customer service team said it was our fault. Paid 3 full rate delivery charges to get the correct order. £90 plus VAT! They misrepresent these delivery charges because they also add the VAT to your order and delivery. AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE. AVOID!!!

Would use again

Received free samples quickly, decided to go ahead and do a full order of the sample. They arrived when they said they would. Good quality tiles for the price. One pack was broken but I had an instant reply to help sort the issue.

I am still waiting to hear about when I will receive my order!

I placed an order and paid the extra £50 for quick delivery... to date I have not received my order. I have left a message and emailed the company, promising a response and have heard nothing... I am still waiting... I am worried as my money has been accepted by the company and they have not, to date, honoured their side of the contract... trust is everything when purchasing items online and currently I cannot recommend this company as being trustful as their actions do not fulfill their promises made on their website... I am still waiting to hear about when I will receive my order!

Great product let down by very poor customer service.

After receiving a sample of the highline copper tile, we decided to go ahead and order 23 of these tiles for a feature wall. When ordering you could receive a 5% discount for submitting your email address. After numerous attempts to get this, we had to contact the company for a code. After placing the order, we received no confirmation so had to contact the company again to get an invoice emailed to us. We then had to contact the company again when we received no delivery details and then again on the day of delivery to confirm the delivery was going ahead. The driver was supposed to let us know an hour before delivery and this did not happen either. On a plus note, the tiles arrived undamaged and the driver was very pleasant and helpful. The tiles I can’t fault but the company is let down by non existent communication. Delivery costs are very high also.

Nothing positive from this experience

Poor customer service. Ordered my tiles a month ago and still have not received them. Emailed ‘Sam’ who arranged for them to be delivered on xmas eve and the deliver guy never showed up. Called the company a week after and was told they were going to be delivered the next day. Waited and again, no one showed up! Called the company multiple times and they informed us they are still awaiting a response from the delivery company. Finally, sorted it out myself - called the deliver company and after 10 minutes, they told me that a redelivery was booked the week after. Managed to sort it out and awaiting a delivery after New Year’s. Appalling service as they keep giving me wrong information. I had to take annual leave to wait for these tiles to come around only to realise the re-delivery was never arranged! Order number 338199. Update 31/12 The tiles arrive in such a haphazard manner and unsafe for us to remove them as they were 60x60 cm tiles and really heavy. As expected, they were broken. Out of 150 tiles, 30 were broken. We waited a month for these to be delivered and now we might have to wait another month to have the replacements to be sent to us. Luckily, our builder was very understanding of this mishap that was clearly not our fault. Also emailed the company and ‘Ben’ had the audacity to ask me to remove/amend my review. They clearly only care about profit and their reputation. Their lack of sensitivity is pretty obvious. Everything that could go wrong has gone wrong. What do I have to do to just get my tiles on time and intact?!
