Schedule resolution fix re Octopus/Tesla - great service from Leanne & team

Have been trying to get my Apex charger to schedule a charge to my Tesla for a couple of weeks since finally getting my Octopus Go tariff in place. Leanne has been particularly helpful in providing support here & added a new fix to my app which worked perfectly last night. Thanks to Leanne & the Projectev team for sorting this issue.

EV charger fix

After a long period of issues Jonathan visited to fix our car charger. He was very friendly and explained exactly what he was doing at the time, what he was looking for and the steps we could take to ensure the charger worked successfully every time. He repaired damage to the front plate and we now have a fully functioning charger that we no longer have to worry about. Could not have asked for a better engineer especially after having such a stressful time with the app and charger not working. It’s been sorted and fantastic ever since. Great guy, excellent work, very happy, he’s a credit to the company.

Responsive and useful customer support

This review is about the experience with customer support (William Price), which was great - fixed my issue very quickly and got me up and running. Experience of the charger and manual not so good - couldn’t connect without contacting support as it wasn’t clear in the manual that home WiFi may interfere with the charger’s hotspot, so I spent a lot of time faffing over something that could have been resolved very quickly had the manual included this note in the app connection instruction pages.

We could not have had better service…

We could not have had better service and help. We spoke to Antonio who was a star 💫 As new comers to EV and charging we had very little understanding and when the charger failed to work we were thrown into a bit of a panic, after just placing an order of an electric car. We phoned on Saturday but could not get an answer. But this morning (Monday) we were rung (brilliant customer service). Antonio talked us through our issues, talked us through a few test to find the problem. He clearly explained the possible problems and we both have a clear understanding of the issue (down to the company who fitted the device). He went further to explain more about the app, what we could do if we were stuck needing to charge a car. Phenomenally helpful and I can’t recommend high enough. Thank you so much!

Jada was very helpful and sorted out a visit to restore functionality to my charger, however by downpowering it. it seemed to resolve the issue as its now working as it should. Very happy with the response from Project EV.
