Great Service Intelligent Octopus Fault

I had a problem with intelligent Octopus Interface with a nearly 3 year old Project EV charger unit. Still under parts and labour warranty. Both the support team and Ian the engineer who came to our house were very helpful and professional. They sorted the problem for me. Brilliant service and I would recommend Project EV to everyone.

I was nervous what the support would be like for the product. But I was wrong to be nervous. They were very knowledgable and helpful, replied within a short space of time and went above and beyond to make sure my setup worked for me. I have been very impressed.

New EV owners need help!

As new EV/charger owners, we had a steep learning curve, but Project EV staff have helped us get through. It was quick and easy to get a response to our queries, and we really couldn't have sorted our issues without the help of Project EV. Firstly, they helped us set up the charger with our WIFI - maybe we could have muddled through on our own to do this, but it was definitely quicker with help, not to mention stop our blood pressure rising.! Then they spent a long time helping us to get the charger set up to accept the energy tariff we wanted to use. I'm sure that without their help we literally would not have been able to set up the charger as we needed it to be. Thank you Project EV, here's to a long and happy relationship!

There is nothing EZI about this company- AVOID at all costs!

I bought a Project EV charger from this company on 8th November 2023 that included installation. I was told that due to the location of the charger that we would have to do some groundworks to make way for some underground ducting to feed the cabling through. I arranged this with my builder and then called the company back to arrange an installation date which i had to wait weeks for! The installer finally came out on the 9th January but when he turned up he had no idea how to feed the cabling through the ducting, i even had to help him myself but he still was unable to do it and announced that he had brought a different EV charger to the one i originally ordered and therefore didn't have the right electrical equipment on board to complete the installation anyway! So he left the job. I then complained to the company and they told me they couldn't get a different installer out until 15th February (bearing in mind i had had my new hybrid car since the 15th December and was still not able to charge it). I refused to wait this long so I asked if i could arrange my own installer instead to which they agreed and asked me to send in my invoice so they could refund the installation. So I have had the installation done but unfortunately I have to have the work signed off before i can use the charger to which i cannot find an electrician to do this as the one that fitted it can't sign it off and finding someone who can sign someone else's work off is near impossible (Who knew)! I've contacted my contact several times now at Project EV but unfortunately he has ghosted me and will not return my emails. So I'm £1370 out of pocket which is the £1000 i paid for the charger I can not use and £370 which i paid my own installer to fit my charger and which means i am still unable to charge my car since the 15th December! I would stay well clear from this company as they are in breach of contract and don't even have the courtesy to respond to your emails. I will now be taking this matter to independent adjudication.

Very Helpful

Been having issues with 2 (out of 8) chargers onsite. Phoned in and spoke to Guy, then asked for Guy each subsequent call as he knew the ongoing issues. He is polite, cheerful, calm and very helpful. He was knowledgeable and informative as we went through all the possible issues and how to fix them.
