So I thought it was just me...

So I thought it was just me.... but after reading these real reviews I can tell it’s not- but don’t let them fool you. I’ve got pretty thick hair that has a minor wave/texture but is basically just white girl blonde hair.... I have watched two hours of videos and taken lots of time to try this thinking I just didn’t get it right- no matter what I do the thing just fails .... it’s honestly the worst product I’ve purchased online and that’s saying something bc I’ve bought a lot of questionable stuff.

Not worth my money or time

I ordered a regular ponyo and a bun bar. Shipping is a joke. It took almost two months for it to get to me. Bun bar is impossible to use. Doesn’t stay in my hair. I have straight long hair. Length is down a little past my armpit. I don’t have thin hair or thick hair. It’s pretty in between. My problem with hair rubber bands is that my ponytail slips down after about an hour. It never stays up. Same thing happens with the ponyo. It’s difficult to get my hair into it too. This was a huge waste of money. They have a 30 day money back guarantee but you have to pay for shipping. I already paid for shipping to get these pieces of crap to me. I’m not paying anymore. Just going to let people know it sucks.

They are cute but don't bother if you have thin hair. This product seems to be for thick hair. Can't use. Gave away to someone with thicker hair. They barely worked for her.

These are terrible Do not waste your money

These are terrible, they do not hold up any hair type. I have a daughter with fine thin hair and one with thick and they do not work at all! They do not hold up your hair, they fall down quicker than regular hair ties.

I got mine in the mail yesterday (9 days from order date) and love it. I am back on the website to buy more! I feel really bad for the ladies that feel scammed because I feel it works exactly as the ad said they would work. My hair isn't thick or thin just average.

Awful products DO NOT BUY

Received my products today. They arrived with no Pony-0 branding - slung in a brown envelope. No Pony-0 hair pouches just a cheap organza bag. Bun bar does not work and bling ring is cheap. After contacting customer service they informed me other customers had taken the last cotton branded ones. If I wanted to get them I have to email and see when they are back in stock. They told me how to use the products and if I wasn’t Happy that I could return then. THEN THEY BLOCKED ME LEAVING COMMENTS ON THEIR FACEBOOK AND MESSENGER. Atrocious customer service and wouldn’t allow me to make a formal complaint. Might as well have bought cheap imitations and saved myself the £11 custom charge for the trouble of buying from Pony-0.

Thin/fine hair? Pony-O Won't Work For You.

This product is designed to scam those with thin/fine hair, like myself. The truth is, if your hair doesn't have volume or thickness naturally, this won't help you look like you have a thick ponytail. Wearing a pony-o when you have fine hair is the lady equivalent of a comb-over on a balding man. So on me, I just don't have enough hair for the pony-o - it has less to grasp onto so the ponytail looks sparse. And because my hair is thin, the ponytail lacks strength - so it isn't forced outwards like you see on the models, it just flops down. No miraculous difference to wearing an elastic. For the price, the fact it doesn't do what it says it does for people with thin/fine hair, and the poor shipping experience I had (that's another story!), I would not recommend this product at all.

Mediocre product, poor customer service.

Firstly, the products themselves are extremely poor value for money. I ordered the standard Pony O, a Bun Bar and a Bling Band, none of which suit my fine hair. In fact, I’ve had better results from a cheap copy that I purchased new from an online auction site. It cost a fraction of the money and arrived in a fraction of the time! My order from Pony O took over 2 months to arrive, and during that time communication with the company was abysmal. The emails I did receive from their customer services department were unsympathetic at best and rude at worst. They blamed the delay on the COVID-19 pandemic, which is ridiculous. I have ordered many things from many different companies during lockdown; none of which took so long to arrive. Finally, there was a customs charge of over £12 that I had to pay before my items could finally be delivered. Added to the already inflated price of these products, my entire experience with Pony O proved to be a very expensive mistake indeed.

***SCAM*** I would give 0 stars if I could!!! I have been trying to contact them by phone and email for the past month to return my $20 order of hair bands. They have not responded at all and I have now had to get my bank’s fraud department involved in an investigation. As for the product itself it does not work as promised. A normal elastic works better than the Pony-O bands. They are loose and do nothing for your hair, also they take 5X longer to get in than a normal hair elastic. A complete waste of money!! Whoever is running this company is a despicable deplorable scam artist!! An absolute fraud that should be shut down!! Don’t waste your money on this cheap product, I promise it’s not worth it and it does nothing for your hair.

You know what they say...

You know what they say: If it ain't broke, don't fix it. An elastic band works just fine to hold my thick hair and they don't cost $10 apiece. I really wanted to like these, but they take much longer to put in and my ponytail does not look fabulous or anything; it just looks like a piece of rubber in my hair. It's not a good look, and it begins to slide out after a minute or so. I've heard they have a 30-day money back guarantee but that they don't pay return shipping costs, which they're not upfront about. Things like that always bother me.
