Item arrived damaged and customer service is silent
Was promised a replacement for a damaged item received and they will no longer respond to my emails. Issue #1- item received damaged. Issue #2- they promised a replacement would be shipped #3- customer service will not respond. They promised it would be received two months ago. No longer respond to my inquiries.
Order only if ready to wait months for it
Absolutely deplorable customer service. I placed an order on May 20. The expected shipping dates were June 1-5. Suddenly the shipping date changed to June 19 with no communication from the company. I found out myself via their website. I have emailed and messaged on both their social media platforms. Someone will respond initially, but then they will just leave you. No more responses, no solutions, no apologies. They post regularly and reply to comments, but they will not respond to your message a second time when you have further questions. They are constantly announcing new products every other day when many people haven't received their original products! When I did receive an email back, the rep told me that all orders placed on the website are pre-orders. I read through the website and shipping information thoroughly before I ordered, and there was absolutely NOTHING that said I'd be placing a preorder. I'd recommend never doing business with this company. They are shady and sneaky, and the customer service is completely useless. I'll look into just cancelling my order. This was a complete waste of my time. I'm not sure if this company is just stretched too thin and can't keep up with demand, or if they are just bad at doing business. At any rate, this felt like a bait and switch. EDIT: I'm editing this to add I emailed them to request a cancellation of my order and a refund. After 3 days they never responded so I took it to PayPal. I filed a dispute and they issued me a refund.
Six weeks and still no product
Wish I could review the Pony O but it never arrived. They charged my bank account the day I placed the order, not the day they "shipped" it, which is a very shady business practice -- and eleven days after it "shipped," tracking shows it still hasn't left Denver. (I'm in the US.) After many emails (and empty promises), I filed a formal PayPal complaint and got a refund. I don't know if this company is sketchy or if it has just overextended itself, but I will not do business with them again.
Garbage.
I really wanted this to work. I have fine hair but a lot of it, and it's not the easiest to get it through the pony-o, but once you get the hang of it, it's not bad. It looks great! For about 15 minutes. Then it starts falling, and you can't tighten it without having to redo the whole thing. Throw it in the trash.

Have been waiting almost 3 months for my order to arrive and have followed up several times. Customer service doesn't reply to requests for the status of my order, or replies with a generic assurance that it will 'come soon'. Requests for shipping details, tracking number, or a refund are just ignored. This company is a scam, do not order!
Great concept but poor quality
Great concept but poor quality. I ordered a few over a year ago. Two have broken, i.e. the metal breaks rendering the hair tie useless. They did replace the first one that broke but how many times can you get a replacment before you decide this product is just rubbish?
Total garbage
Total garbage. Just another Instagram hustle. Unless your Caucasian with thin hair don't waste your money. After ordering their XL advertised for thick hair and waiting over a month to receive, disappointed to find out complete garbage.
VERY Disappointed!
VERY Disappointed!! I have thin hair. I was hopeful this would work with my fine hair. But just like every single product out there, the Pony O does NOT work at all. It is too large to hold thin hair, and in fact, the rubber-like coating actually rips and breaks and damages my thin hair. It's way too heavy to hold thin, fragile hair. This is a total waste of money. They specifically say the product will work with thin hair, but that is simply an out and out LIE.
I was disappointed
I was disappointed. Hopeful it would hold my hair up as advertised, but it doesn’t, not more than a minute or so.
Not for thick hair...
My hair is too thick and long for this product. I ordered the pony O XL and the bun bar, and even after following the instructions my hair just falls down. Granted, the pony O hangs on, but it doesn't hold my hair up. After contacting customer service, the supposed owner of the company was incredibly condescending, implying that it's my fault I couldn't figure it out and not hers. Also, they don't cover shipping to you or back to them, so it costs more than the product in shipping if you return it. I chose to just throw it out rather than waste any more money on this company.
