We have travelled extensively and many of the trips have been self-organized and self-guided. When travelling to Machu Picchu we felt we needed local travel agency expertise to make our trip special. You personally, the guides, the drivers, the WhatsApp support personnel were all fantastic. Everyone was extremely professional. The vehicles and drivers were all first class. All of our guides were knowledgeable and flexible to meet our personal travel needs. This whole trip was amazing and full of life-time memories, and best of all was we had absolutely NO related stress.

Silvia Rincon from Inka Expert Travel managed to accommodate our request to see the most of Peru in 8 days in a marvelous way. We visited Arequipa, Cuzco, Colca Canyon, Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu with spare time to walk around Lima. Somehow, Silvia and her team flawlessly managed 5 hotels, 6 transfers, 4 internal flights, 2 trains, 2 buses and 6 tours without missing a beat. Starting with their fantastic website, loaded with lots of resources that opened our eyes to a myriad of possibilities and their immediate response and ability to adjust itineraries to our inexpert requests, Inka Expert Travel made every step of the process feel easy. Upon arrival, we found an Inka Travel representative at every location providing us with an updated travel plan and accompanying us to the hotel making sure everything was in order. Punctuality is not something Inka Expert Travel messes with, every day the tour guides were sharp on time and ready to go, providing the most accurate and educated information about the places to be visited. Pilar, Jorge, Ivan and Peter are highly regarded professionals in their own fields and opened our eyes to the wonders of Peruvian culture and history, always attentive to our questions and polite about our ignorance. The hotel selection was superb, unfortunately, we could not stay longer to enjoy all the amenities offered by them. The drivers Hector, Diego, David and Saul were courteous and made us feel very safe, especially on those sections of the road where traffic was heavy or the roads too windy. Sylvia and her team have raised the bar for international travel, and I am not exaggerating when I say that they are the best in the business. I would recommend Inka Expert Travel to anyone wanting to have a great experience in Peru.

We had a wonderful vacation using Inca Expert Travel. We tend to arrange our own travel abroad but decided to use a service due to more difficulty with language and transport in Peru. Several times we remarked on how happy we were to have great guides, support, transport, etc. They made all the necessary arrangements and just showed up to enjoy and learn. Well worth the fee as everything but tips were included. (We arranged our own flights but they worked around those arrangements.)

Inca planned a great trip for us to Peru and Machu Picchu. The built a packed but manageable itinerary so we could see Lima, Cusco, the sacred valley and Machi Picchu. The tour guides were all fantastic, informative and really flexible. Inca's 24 hour support really shined when our son got sick the morning of Machu Picchu. They arranged alternative plans for us to make sure we could still get the most out of the time there. I highly recommend them.

My family enjoyed all the arrangements for drivers to pick us up and private tour guides. Some were a bit better than others. We enjoyed spending 1/2 day with the Andes Women, and they helped make friendship bracelets and shared their food and culture with us. I bought a couple of souvenirs from them. We also enjoyed the Amazon minus heavy mosquitos. My oldest son got 16 mosquito bites even though we had heavily spread the deet. Surprisingly, the food at the Amazon was much better than the two hotels we stayed in. We took planes, trains, boats, and car rides on this trip. We highly recommend this agency to our friends and families.

We used Inca Expert to travel to Chile (Santiago, Atacama) in December 2024. It was a great experience with them overall. Selene helped us book our travel and gave us good advise on where to go and how to split our time across the different locations. The travel arrangements were fantastic and I was especially impressed with how the check-ins were done automatically for the local flights. Our drivers (Ferr, Alex) and guides (Alvaro, Ulysses) in Santiago/Valparaiso, Atacama were great and professional - always on time, provided useful information, respected our privacy and spoke good English. Special mention for Ulysses who provided some non-touristy recommendations for food and shopping and took us to some amazing vista points for photos. We added the astronomy tour to the package and highly recommend that - it was amazing to see the Milky Way and nebulae and to observe the night sky in a way we don't get to experience in our suburb. Overall, a great experience with Inca Expert and would definitely choose them again.

Our rep from Inca Expert, Debbie, was very easy to work with. We have booked two trips with her. Peru - Machu Picchu, Cusco, Lima and the Amazon and Ecuador - Quito and the Galapagos. She was thorough, responsive and took care of all the details (transfers, tickets, hotels reservations, etc.) of our trips. Both trips were wonderful and everything went smoothly. WOW! That’s the word for what a great experience/adventure Inca Expert Travel did for us. It all started with your help in working with our travel agent Rebecca in setting up this truly once in a life time experience. Both of us being senior citizens and concerned about our physical endurance for this adventure, you and your people made this an enlightening and enjoyable experience. We didn’t really know what to expect when we landed late that night in Lima, but Mary was there to meet us at the airport and took us to our hotel; it was nice that the Costa del Sol Lima Hotel was so close to the airport, easy walking distance to and from the airport. Mary made us feel very relaxed after a long flight, spent the time going over what would happen in the morning and how to catch our flight to Cusco. We want to thank you for the beautiful water bottles too. We were both surprised that we were upgraded in seating on the plane; thank you again that was very nice. When we arrived at Cusco, Stephanie and the driver were there to meet and take us to our hotel. She spent the time helping us settle in at the hotel and went over what would be happening over the next few days. She made us feel right at home, setting us up with some cocoa tea upon our arrival. The hotel accommodations were very nice and the staff was wonderful. The New Year’s Eve dinner was a very enjoyable evening, Thank you for that experience. Our first day with our guide was an experience we both with never forget. He meet us in our hotel lobby and his friendliness made us feel very comfortable. We really didn’t know what to expect having never had a personal guide, but Hugo made us feel at ease and relaxed as he began his tour for the day. We found him to be exceptionably knowledgeable in the history of the Incas and the Spanish culture and the explaining of the blending of the two cultures over the long period of time. The two days Hugo was with us were an unbelievable experience, from the Cusco tour, the opportunity to see the Alpacas, to see the Salt Mine, the Scared Valley tour to leaving us to catch the train to Aguas Calientes. We said our farewells thus ending his time with us. We will miss his big smile. The train ride to Aguas Calientes was an adventurous journey; to see such a beautiful county by rail was unbelievable. Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes we were meet by Miranda who helped us check into our boutique hotel and informed us what to expect the next day when we meet with our guide. Casa del Sol Boutique provided us with a gorgeous room and dinner. The food was wonderful and the opportunity to eat by the river made our evening an enjoyable one. The following morning, we meet with our guide Joel. He took us to where we were to get our tickets to catch the bus to Machu Picchu. Boy, what a bus ride that was! Once we arrived at the top, Joel began our tour of Machu Picchu. Both Joyce and I were astounded at what we saw, WOW… A tour of Machu Picchu which we had dreamed for many years had come true. Having Joel as our guide was an added bonus. His knowledge of the local area and Macho Picchu itself, supplemented by his personal experiences, made this an unforgettable tour. We learned so much more than if we had been on a group tour or toured by ourselves. We want to also mention that throughout the total time we were in Peru, before and after we boarded our ship the Silver Ray, your company provided us with a wonderful group of drivers. All them were courteous, friendly and always had a smile when we ended the day with them. Both guides deserve accolades. Both Hugo and Joel are what made this experience one we will never forget.
