Ordered samples of laminate flooring on…

Ordered samples of laminate flooring on 03/01/25, DPD informed me that the parcel delivery is delayed, never received. Contacted customer services again and I was told that the samples will be sent again but received a message from DPD that package is delayed..... Contacted customer services and was told that DPD has collected the package and will be delivered soon........ Still waiting..........😕 But still I can say that customer service is excellent. 🙂

AVOID- PLEASE READ BEFORE PURCHASING

AVOID- PLEASE READ BEFORE PURCHASING! I don’t make a habit of leaving negative reviews or slate any business but in this case people need to be made aware of this company! We ordered (and paid) for a sample before Xmas as we planned to lay more laminate down to existing, discontinued flooring (not from Leader Floors). The sample was perfect in colour and dimension. We ordered x8 packs 22nd December and received on 7th January. When the flooring arrived the dimensions were different. I called up and was told by a guy called Jamie that the sample we’d received was from an old batch. I explained the product spec on their website specifies the dimensions that we believed we were ordering and Jamie then informed us the website hadn’t been updated for the new batch (nor has it still by the way)! There was no phone call to inform us of this prior to the flooring being delivered, as if they had this could have all been avoided as we would’ve told them we couldn’t use it. In the meantime Jamie was ‘investigating’ to see if they had any more of the old batch in the warehouse but again no communication or updates and we were left in complete limbo and having to chase him up. In the meantime we now have x8 packs of flooring and a carpenter booked to do the work on 11th & 12th January, couldn’t get any more of the size laminate leader floors delivered in time from any other supplier so our only (cheapest option) was to order more flooring to replace our dining room (which was in perfectly good condition so you can imagine how reluctant we was to do this) so we didn’t lose the fees we’d already paid for the carpenter. When I managed to eventually get to speak to Jamie I explained this and he agreed to give us x9 more packs at cost price instead of trade price, wave the delivery fee and for it to be a guaranteed delivery on Friday 10th Jan which was followed up in an email. So we were now £160 out of pocket for more flooring that we didn’t need but we were still on schedule with the carpenter, bitter sweet. We had no tracking info on the evening of Thursday the 9th as advised by Jamie so on the morning of Friday 10th I called up, low and behold no delivery was scheduled for that day it was scheduled for Monday 13th January. This now meant that not only had we lost money on a carpenter but on flooring that we didn’t need to replace due to the incompetency of the staff at Leader Floors. I asked to speak to a manager but was advised they have no access to managers. I was emailed by a lady called Angela (who’d previously been in touch to ask me to change my 1 star review I’d already submitted after the issues with the first order, as Jamie had now ‘resolved’ our issue on Wednesday 8th) to offer her apologies and offered to refund our delivery charge which would of been £35, but we hadn’t paid a delivery charge as that was part of Jamie’s ‘resolution’. I explained that sorry didn’t cut it at this point and I have since had no response from her. I’m sure I will get a generic response to this review like all the others from the elusive Susan George (who by the way will ask you to contact her directly but you will not be able to speak to her, does Susan even exist???) to give a spiel on how that’s not the service they aim to provide etc etc but it’s all lip service! We will never buy from this company again, they hide behind emails, very poor communication & customer service. I would urge everyone NOT buy from this company under any circumstances! Finally, the office will insist you fill out an online form and supply photos etc etc. it’ll take 24 hours for a generic response but the first thing they’ll ask, rather than deal with your issue, is if anything has been opened or used, as this will allow them to completely wash their hands of it as per their ‘small print’. Scandalous!

£75 for delivery heavily pregnant no help with lifting boxes

I'm heavily pregnant I live on a first floor flat, 13 steps in total to my front door. I paid £75 for delivery when delivery arrived I was told the drivers are not insured to bring up the stairs for me. Nobody had informed me of this very very poor customer service ! £685 spent. I then had to carry 17 boxes of flooring myself putting myself as and my unborn baby in danger. Not happy at all will never order from here again. Delivery company was VIP DELIVERED
