Positive experience.
I only gave 4 stars because I wasn't able to purchase the National Holidays travel insurance on the website or over the phone, also I tried twice to pay for the holiday online & my bank blocked the payment despite me having sufficient funds in my account. After phoning up to book/pay for the holiday the call handler was very polite and helpful & suggested the online payment problem may have been due to the banking system being busy. So the call handler sorted my booking out, took my payment over the phone with no problems & suggested I phone back in 2 weeks to see if they have sorted the travel insurance problems out.

Disappointed with the hotel & food
Our driver, Corey was excellent, couldn't have asked for anyone better. Always checking on all passengers to make sure we were ok. Finding out information on his phone & directing people if they weren't sure of anything. Nothing was any bother for him.Came round every table in the dining room of hotel. The excursions out were good. The only let downs were the hotel (Baren in Oberharmersbach) and food. No lounge area to sit in. Unable to get a coffee.
The whole holiday was marvellous
The driver was very friendly, and knowledgeable, and pointed out anything we might have been interested in seeing. Our hotel was brilliant, the staff amazing, and our room was very comfortable. Meals were very good.

It was a very long coach ride due to all the stops and pick ups. We were travelling from Bristol to Manchester which took around 8 hours. Information regarding pick up point was a bit sketchy. It took us an hour and half to get to pick up point 8.30 am and we arrived around 4.30pm Christmas dinner was not that great and my bathroom was not clean i had to do it myself. However i enjoyed it and i would go again but no so far next time
How a thoughtless selfish driver can ruin a promising short break
It should have been the perfect short New Year's break near the capital for myself , my husband, my son and daughter-in-law with my granddaughter, as we all live in Italy and were enjoying a festive break at our second home, the 2 day tour including visits to Windsor and London sounded really attractive, but alas they did not materialize, Windsor only partially: we were dropped off 8yon Windsor shortly before 11.00 a.m, and told to be back at the coach at 2.30 p m, it takes no more than 15 minutes from the hotel to Windsor , we were back at the hotel by 3.00p.m with the prospect of 3+ boring hours of nothing to do as the Gala dinner wasn't starting till 7.30.New Year's Day we lwere told to have our cases outside by i a.m and be ready to leave for London at 10.30 a.m, we had just belted up when the driver Peter from British Blue asked how many would have preferred to go home, it was evident he had been enticing the older members whilst loading the coach so straight home, no London, my son , daughter-in-law and granddaughter were speechless
