Not for us
Coach was new, but no WiFi sadly, but the seats were comfy and the bus was very clean. drivers were helpful and pleasant to talk to if you had any questions. Then it goes down hill, we went on a trip to London to see ABBA Voyage with a one night stop in a cheap and cheerful hotel. Speaking to the other travellers it would seem there were three different tour operators on the one bus which meant we had five stops for pickups ! We got on the bus to London in Chester at 07:30 in the morning and arrived in London at 15:30 (no traffics jams) we ended up on that bus for 7.5 hours to London !!! HOW, WHY I understand companies have to make a profit on these tours but when booking had I been told oh by the way you will be on this bus for that length of time I would never have booked, maybe that’s why you only get your tickets seven days before so they have extra time to tout to other tour companies We refused to go another 7.5 trip home so got out in London snd took the train home at extra cost to us, one other couple did the same thing as she said the same as me, she also found the journey to long, no music, no wifi, just mile upon mile in a comfy but cramped space. Nightmare trip and won’t be booking again, obviously coach trips are not for me. Ps that trip to be fare did include a 45 min stop at a services, but that still means over 6.5 hours to get to London
The telephone customers service was…
The telephone customers service was excellent, took no time to complete my trip arrangements, I was provided with good information and excellent service.
Fabulous break away
Great break away from start to finish. Good hotel, schedule went without a hitch. The driver and co were gentlemen and it couldnt have been made any better. Thank you National holidays
The journey is way too long you used to…
The journey is way too long you used to have nearer stops avoiding going criss cross around the country and then more at the services. The out of the way place where the coach parks for the theatres is a bit of a walk for some people. For us we had to get to the Tower. The hotel was fine comfy and clean but breakfast seemingly the dining room was full so we could go to the annex which we did. Amazi9 all the people in there were off our coach. The service was abismal and the food was just warm or cold. The journey home was OK but at Preston we were suddenly told to get of the coach and on to a rickety mini bus that jumped at every bump in the road. It wasn't the worst ever experience but certainly no where near what we expected.
For a Mystery break
For a Mystery break, it was very good. We enjoyed the destination, Stratford upon Avon & Birmingham. The only downside was that the food at the hotel wasn’t as good as some of the trips we have been on. We only had two choices and neither of them were vegetarian or of a very good standard
Return trip Excellent
Absolutely lovely trips especially this time of year, Bosworth Hall is set in Beautiful grounds and easy reach of the local village. The food was good and everyone welcome, nice touch with the 2 unexpected acts 1 on three Friday and the other Saturday. Made great use of the bar 241 after 7pm (weekends )were fabulous and well organised with the gold bands. We have been on this trip before and thoroughly enjoyed both times, SPA is a welcome relax after a busy shopping experience, we met some lovely people on our trip .we will be returning very soon.x
Very hectic trip be well worth it (poppies at the tower)
Very hectic trip be well worth it. As this trip appeared to mainly aimed at people going to the theatre the drop off point was far too far away from the tower
it was exactly as it said on the tin
it was exactly as it said on the tin
Driver was great
Driver was great! Kept us well informed!
Timings were bad
Timings were bad. Was geared up for theatre people and not poppy at Tower bridge.
