Valuation returned the next day to the mortgage lender following the survey being carried out, full report followed shortly after this. I was contacted by the surveyor prior to the report being sent, report was clear and has provided me with all the information I need.

Virgin Money used this company to value my property. They valued the rent income at at least 20% below market rate and below the actual rate so I could not get a mortgage with them. Completely hopeless, avoid if at all possible. How can surveyors from Derby know the value of a property in Hertfordshire anyway? Ridiculous. My broker provided compelling information to challenge the survey and Virgin even informally admitted it was clearly incorrect but could not change it because this surveyor would not admit their mistake.
