SCAM!! AVOID!
SCAM!!! So we are moving to a new city and one of the apartments we liked was through OneRent. We tried contacting them to schedule a tour and got an automated text that we should apply to the property and they will prioritize our application. We thought that seemed fine and sent one in. To start, their computer system has a lot of issues and they us numerous emails and texts to complete our application ASAP even though we had completed it. When you try to contact them they are impossible to reach by phone and prefer text. When you text them you get automatic computer generated replies to your questions that don't make sense. We were a little weirded out but still wanted to see the place so we scheduled our tour. The morning of the tour we left early in the morning to make it to the scheduled tour (current city is about 3 hours away). While we were on the road we received an automated text that our tour had been cancelled and a link to reschedule. They would not be able to show the apartment to us until the next afternoon. Since we were already over an hour from home and driving up specifically to see this unit, we tried to reach out to One rent by phone. We called multiple times and all calls went to voicemail. We tried texting back the number but no response. We were very upset at this point! Fast forward 8 hours later we finally received a text back that stated that we could go for a "self guided" tour if we wanted. At this point we were already back at home. They also sent us another text later that evening urging us to sign up for another tour. This morning when I logged in to check my account it says our application is "closed." So weird since the day before we had gotten an email that our application was accepted and to expect lease paperwork soon! I was left really wondering if this apartment even exists at all! Glad we saw their true colors now though and can avoid this company!

I have had a couple maintenance issues…BUT
I have had a couple maintenance issues in my rental and Karl from the maintenance team, has always been extremely efficient and helpful with all my concerns. Additionally he is very thorough and explained everything to me in detail to leave no confusion. Thanks to Karl, my transition to my new home got a whole lot easier ! Your team is lucky to have you .
The experience was good
The experience was good, overall! It was nice to have help in booking contractors etc. The customer service directly from the company was great. I appreciated the consistency and the checkups to see that the job was done. The one difficulty we had was with various contractors working one job. This resulted in a partially fixed toilet for several days until another could come. We are very happy with the new me results.
We needed our washing machine replaced
We needed our washing machine replaced. The OneRent maintenance team was very helpful in scheduling a time for delivery and coordinating the delivery technicians and reinstallation of our dryer afterwards. However, having all communication with technicians go through a third party made it a little difficult to promptly address issues like wrong address/wrong time windows. We were able to eventually get everything situated though and we appreciate the new washer!
Overall good experience
Put in a maintenance request and was completed within a timely manor. Maintenance was super friendly and did a good job fixing our tub. Only complaint I would have is after the job is completed, wipe up any mess left behind. Tub and floor had black shoe prints all over.
