Dreadful customer experience
Dreadful customer experience, I think this is your typical young startup enamored by their own product and not enough investment in customer experience. The lack of attention to communication, odd experience gates in front of homes to actually go on a tour, day of cancellations after you confirmed an appointment just literally hours before. Seeing the age of the executive team running this ship, it’s easy to see why they operate a very mediocre product. It seems other reviews prove my point as well, and glad to see I was not the only one. Words of advice, invest in the experience, innovative AI and technology, while core to the business, does nothing for users if you can’t steer them through the journey properly.
Coordination could have been a little…
Coordination could have been a little better. We missed the first delivery window of our new washer/dryer because the delivery person had to contact the owner, who had to contact Onerent, who had to contact us, and by the time all that happened, the delivery person had already left. Would've saved everybody a ton of trouble if we were just able to get contacted directly for the delivery.
Leasing experience
My experience with Onerent during the leasing period was good. There was some miscommunication between the team which caused some stress but our representative Jay helped coordinate all the necessary agreements.

Quick and Perfect Service...
Quick and Perfect Service... Whenever I asked Onerent the maintenance issues on the current rent house, they have responded promptly and gave a perfect solution to resolve the issues. I'm confidently satisfied with their owesome service.
Poor Response Time
I have a unit that is attached to 2 others that share a storm drain. The sump pump failed and needed to be replaced. The original report was on 11.16.2020. The response from OneRent was painfully slow, and the final repair was completed on 2.18.2021. 3 months. In the interim, the neighbors and I had to buy our own pump that had to be maintained and operated, often in the middle of the night. We were never reimbursed for the pump, despite several requests. The only positive from this is a more strongly forged friendship with my neighbors through dealing with this situation. The OneRent staff were at least polite and friendly.
BEWARE
GOOD REVIEWS are fake!! Please notice that one rent doesn't have Google nor yelp reviews. Thats because I heard they had it removed from all the bad stuff people were warning about. I am a tenant. Amongst all the things wrong in the apartment, I have been without a properly working stove /oven since December 17th. Its February 21st. One rent has the worst customer service I have ever seen. Scheduling repairman or deliveries without telling me. Emailing me at 1am and 2am. Texting me at 10pm. Their reps are in the Phillipines by their admission, and I can even hear the chickens and crows during each call and their kids screaming in the background. Not replying or calling me for days at a time. I have been without a way to properly cook food for over 2 months and the live in manager of the building finally contacted me yesterday expressing her frustration and saying she has no idea why the owner uses them because they are terrible and she has problems with them. I just got an email from one rent asking me if my stove got delivered 2 days ago. Do you think they called me to tell me someone was supposed to come??? NOPE. So when I see these "good" reviews, I know it's simply them trying to boost their rating. They have to be fake. Just keep scrolling and reading all the complaints. I just hope that you all as renters and owners yield heed to the warnings. This is the worst management company I've seen in all my years!!! I am not looking forward to moving out and trying to get my security deposit back. It will be an absolute nightmare, I can see.
Plaguing issues haunted our rental but thankfully Onerent came to the rescue!
We have had issues with our rental townhome ever since we moved in almost a year ago. We have been very fortunate recently to get some wonderful help from Onerent with setting up dishwasher and garbage disposal repair. Everything was finally fixed and we are able to wash our dishes properly again. The staff at Onerent did a great job following up on everything promptly and keeping us in the loop with everything. Would definitely recommend Onerent for anyone’s rentals!
