Complain to the WICS for these cowboys
Had a tiny office with a bill of £4.80 that we have tried to pay a number of times. Asked for a copy of the bill, only the first one, but no help from them. Now received a debt recovery charge of £40 for the £4.80 we are trying to pay. Complaint now going to the WICS. Anyone else with similar issues, I suggest you approach the regulator with any issues.

I recently had to sign up with a water utility company as my property was identified as a gap site. I did this from the States with help from Callum McCarthy at Pure Utilities who answered my multiple questions quickly and professionally. Hugely disappointed with the scans I received. I've notified ScanCafe and hope I can get the images re-scanned properly. I'm digitizing my mother's artwork from 35mm transparencies, so I ordered 4000dpi "Pro Resolution" to capture maximum detail. When I reviewed the scans I received - which took far longer than I was led to expect I found several problems: 1. Scans were cropped incorrectly and omitted portions of the original image. Other scans included everything within the cardboard transparency window, as expected. 2. Scans show areas which are soft and out of focus, particularly around the edges which looks like lens blur. This is evident when comparing each scan against the original 35mm transparency, viewed under a loupe. 3. When the file info of each scan is examined, it shows that the "scan" is actually a digital photo taken with a Canon Eos Rebel T7 digital camera with a 105mm lens, and NOT a Noritso or Nikon film scanner as described on the Scancafe website.

Horrible company
Scan Cafe was engaged to scan 4,000 slides. These slides were organized by year, location with 20 slides per page. Each slide was titled and numbered to ensure scanning in the order received. When I received confirmation that the order was complete, I began my review. Much to my dismay, slides were out of order, and many were scanned on the wrong side. I informed the company, making a list on three different review occasions and was assured that the corrections were made. My last review AFTER assurance that the corrections were made utterly incensed me because NO these were not made. The company also argued with me that the slides were scanned correctly and I had to submit images of some of the 16 x 20 prints and also sample prints that I had made to PROVE that, in fact, these were scanned improperly. I received a final e-mail from Mr. Gonzalo Anza saying they were done and did the work for hours. Shall i bill them for the number of hours I spent reviewing, making lists of incorrect scans, photographing and documenting proof that these were scanned improperly? I have filed a complaint with the BBB of Indiana, and upon the recommendation of a friend, I will pursue this further with the Attorney General of Indiana. This company requires a 75% deposit, they do not do the work properly and refuse to refund, and ultimately forced me to accept a hard drive that I did not want, and pay a balance that did not reflect a proper crediting for the slides that I did refuse. I am still awaiting the return of my slides, and if there is one problem with them, I will take legal action. I wish I could find out who all those who reviewed here are located because it would be powerful to work together to get a result that we all deserve... legally if necessary. I continue to receive very polite communications from these crooks apologizing but no attempt to rectify. They basically steal your money and if not satisfied for very legitimate reasons, no action. STEER CLEAR

I ended up being the customer businesses hate. I kept emailing and calling because I thought they were missing the most important photo album I had sent in. It turns out that I had never sent that album in The Customer Support team was so patient with me over both email and phone and I felt they really understood the importance of precious memories. I had used Scan Cafe 10 years ago and loved their service, and they definitely took good care of me this time around.

Hidden monthly recurring download fees tagged to my one time download order
I had some 35 mm negatives scanned to digital. The service and result were satisfactory. I received the digital file via download - there is a charge for that, which I understand. HOWEVER, when I selected digital download they automatically enrolled me in a monthly recurring $9.99 fee for download. I didn't see the fee until 1-2 months later. I called and they canceled it but would not refund the recurring fee that had already occurred. This should be an opt in feature not an opt out feature and demonstrates questionable business practices. I will not go back to them again.

The audio cassette scan was fine, though the tracks were not separated making much more work on my end. I foolishly signed up for download, not realizing that this subscribed me to an ongoing charge even after I downloaded my data. This is a scam and the company should be ashamed of its business practices.

Very Poor Customer Service!!!
I have used ScanCafe three times. Here is what I found. It is important FOR YOU to remove dust from your prints and media--ScanCafe does not. The result is scans with white spots. I sent them a VHS tape, which they stated could not be read. I had paid $19 for a memory stick of print/slides scans and another $19 for a memory stick of the VHS tape. I received two memory sticks, both having the same content--scans of prints/slides. I asked for a refund of $19 for the second memory stick. Here is their email response. "Hi John, I hope this email finds you well. After reviewing your request with our managers, we regret to inform you that we are unable to process a refund for the $19 charge for the memory stick. As you did receive the physical USB, we are unable to issue a refund. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding. Best regards," No, I will not use ScanCafe in the future. I have found better alternatives.

I’ve used as a Cafe since 2021. A family member recommended them. And I haven’t been disappointed. I’ve scanned precious childhood family photos. Even had a photo restoration. Nothing but good things to say. Customer Service is wonderful too. Knowledgeable and polite!! If something isn’t quite right they fix it quickly. I recommend Scan Cafe highly and happy to review their company.

Part exchange for a new van
I visited Todd’s having noticed online that they had reduced some of the prices of their 2025 Swift Voyagers in preparation for the new season. It’s the first time I had visited them having previously purchased a motorhome from another Preston dealer. I have to say my experience with Todd’s was second to none and extremely good from start to finish. On visiting the showroom I was allowed to view all the vans at my own pace and on my own. There was no pressure from the sales team and Steve only popped over to tell me where he was should I want to ask any specific questions. I decided that I would part exchanging my old van as part of the process and received a very good trade in value. This coupled with the fantastic price of the new van made the decision to buy an easy one. The whole process of handing over my old van was seamless and again Steve was on hand to assist should I have any questions. The day then came to pick up my new van. This being after Todd’s had fitted an alarm and tracker for me. It’s the little touches that really make the service with Todd’s superior. I arranged to drop off my gas bottle the day before and when I arrived everything’s was connected and ready for the handover. The van had been warmed with the electric heating and everything had been tested to ensure there were no issues (water, taps, cooker etc etc). The handover was extremely efficient with Steve showing me how everything worked in a relaxed and not rushed manner. Honestly a pleasure to deal with this company!

Todd's were brilliant right from our 1st viewing, to test drive, handover etc. We've had our Sunlight for about 9 months now. She's a 69 plate so came with the gold warranty. We've been away 5 times, no issues, then on our last trip the fridge freezer went. We tried contacting the warranty people direct but had no luck. We phoned Todd's they took over and did everything for us. A brilliant bit of service. We cannot recommend this company any higher. Totally unpressurized sale, great aftercare and an amazing motorhome.

Over and above.
Our motor home was booked in for its first habitation check a few days ago. It transpired it had an electrical problem and as we were going away later that day Todd’s went out of their way to source a replacement component to get us on our way. Considering they didn’t supply the motor home this is real over and above. One very satisfied customer.

Just arrived home with our new to us,motorhome. Our van wasn't new by a long way, it's a 2006 model but the way that Craig looked after the sale and talked us through every aspect of what each item did and how everything worked, it made us feel special and we felt like someone buying a brand new van. He took us round and spent well over 2 hours talking us through the van and we came away well pleased. I'm sure we will have many questions over the next few weeks or so as we get used to our new moho and will have no hesitation in calling the staff at Todd's. What incredible service. I have recently bought a second hand Eldis 120 Firestorm. I met Andrew the sales person before Christmas & particularly wanted this motorhome as I am on my own & had a specific budget. There was no hard sell. He told me to go home & think about as it was a big purchase. For various reasons I could not pick it up till mid February. Again no pressure from Andrew. When I did pick it up, Andrew gave me a long tutorial on all its workings inside & out, being very patient as I took my own notes! First weekend out, was fantastic, but had a few questions & went in to see Paul at service, who like Andrew was great. He talked me through my queries no rush, just very thorough. Oh yes Andrew gave me a very good price for my camper in exchange as well! I would highly recommend this company. I have the confidence knowing that I have this company as my back up, should anything go wrong. I cannot recommend them enough. Stardom at Todds
Stardom at Todds Five stars are too often awarded when an organisation or service is quite good, no problems, OK, best there is. But like Michelin stars they should be awarded only for the outstanding, the excellent, the top of some grade which can be measured. By this measure, after our 30 years of long-term long-distance travel in a series of six motorhomes, Todds service and sales personnel deserve our 5 stars. Recently I called to arrange a habitation service and minor internal repairs, prior to a Spring journey through southern Europe and into Turkey. Paul in the workshop reception was immediately engaged and helpful. He was that rare individual who can give the matter in hand his full attention, inspecting the broken lock, making encouraging statements and booking me in to combine the repair with the habitation service. All the work was completed in one day – the very thorough and comprehensive habitation check and a number of small repairs (door lock, shower door catch, shelf in garage and a new mains socket). The background to this technical competence was a very friendly and professional approach from all of Paul’s team of motorhome aficionados! (Please note that there two Pauls, both equally worthy of note). Between this habitation work and the earlier associated One Call Garage service of the engine and chassis, we can set off with increased confidence.

Outstanding advice and service.
In the process of looking to buy our first motorhome we came across Todds and were immediately impressed by the approach of all the staff, in particular, Andrew from sales and Martin in the shop. We were extremely fortunate in that they had exactly the vehicle we were looking for and the purchase went ahead smoothly. Very unhappy with the tarmac
Very unhappy with the tarmac - we have issues with puddles across the drive which NWS claim is normal for hand laid tarmac. Degradation around the edges makes the finish look really poor too. Signs of wear on the drive already despite it only being laid 9 months ago. When raising issues all we get is rude responses and no offer to resolve the problem. Would not recommend this company at all.

Great honest service & great work
I recently had to call GHS (our go to gas engineers) with a boiler issue. After explaining the problem they said ‘your boiler should still be under warranty! Sure enough it was! GHS explained what they thought the problem was & what to say to Vaillant boilers. Problem fixed under warranty & £29 paid for a small part! Not only did GHS do themselves out of business but kept me as a customer because of their Great Honest Service & great work! Always very impressed by their attention to detail and commitment to safety. Overall, we have always had a great experience, and I would highly recommend this gas engineer for any heating or gas-related needs. Thank you 🙏 GHS

Our boiler was on it's last legs
Our boiler was on it's last legs, we had just had our first baby and couldn't afford to replace it. Marc and his team at GHS have managed to fix it with some new parts which should give it another few years of life and all the parts and labour were covered under our maintenance plan with them, so nothing to pay! Very happy indeed!

My daughter and I have health issues and immediately after speaking to Thasleem they took me through every single step, keeping in touch and explaining everything. Would not recommend
Zenith began the Air Source Heat Pump system fit on 26 August 2024. The initial teams that fitted all the internal insulation and solar panels did a great job; very tidy and a high quality finish. Then the plumber came... he literally ripped up all the upstairs carpets, with no care whatsoever. I also had 4 water leaks, 3 of which were through the kitchen ceiling, causing considerable water damage. Then the electrician attended, leaving bare wires and poor, substandard work. I then had to wait until October for their joiner to attend, to complete a job that should have taken a total of two weeks..... He still hasn't finished, and I'm awaiting his third visit (booked for December, unbelievably). Following the 'completion' of the main works, their company inspector attended on 10th September and verbally agreed that the company should make good the damage done, and to complete various other remedial works (not sure what was submitted in his report, as i've not had a copy). To date these haven't been done, and theres no indication that they even will. The communication and customer care from the company is neither consistent or of a high standard, and I'm still awaiting a call from a manager, from two weeks ago. I have found the whole process very upsetting and traumatic, to say the least. Although I am pleased with the system that has been installed, I cannot recommend using this company, based on my experience to date.

My experience with mono clinic was really good from Bürśa my travel coordinator she was amazing I was excited to come because of her she helped me with any question I had before and made me feel comfortable about travelling. Cengiz my personal coordinator was lovely helped me while I was going through with my surgery. The aftercare nurse was amazing she really helped me understand how to make sure I dress my wounds. Wish I didn’t use them
All was well at first, I had my surgery done in 2021. I had a tummy tuck, 360 lipo and breast uplift with implants. I had an infection in my right boob which wasn’t right when they saw it but said I was fine to fly, my scars on boobs and tummy are horrible- tummy has a big V in the middle. I have contact them so many times and sent photos. My boobs are the worst, one is rock solid and very high- it hurts! The other is fine but very low, saggy low. I really don’t like what they done. At first they told me to keep massaging the boob and then just completely stopped replying. I have reached out on many occasions and am now looking for another clinic to put right what they messed up. Also- the hotel was nothing like they said, me and my friend begged to be moved. We needed to pay extra for another hotel in the end. I really wouldn’t recommend these guys at all. They read my messages and ignore. My lipo seemed ok- which is why I am giving 2 stars and not 1. I’d also like to add I was now shown different implants etc, I saw they had options on the desk when I went in for a check up which puzzled me as I wasn’t given an option. They take cash at the hospital bed which feels so awkward! The hospital itself staff had laughed at me when I had awoken in pain- mono said they would put a complaint to them. The hospital was very run down- the clinic was glamorous which I think is how they real you in- hospital reminded me of something from the waking dead or something. Attempted contact again with them today- my messages were “seen” and I was ignored.

CLINIC IS IGNORING ME AND NOT ANSWERING MY INSTAGRAM MESSAGES!!!!!!! I had a breast revision with mono I put my trust in one of their drs to rectify my breast and this was not what they did, the dr said to me that my right implant was in the wrong position and he would move this for me during the revision….THIS HE DID NOT DO THEY LIED TO MY FACE…when I came home I had to go the NHS for a scan and they confirmed it was sitting to high and the dr had definitely not moved it!!! They are ignoring my instagram messages and e**** who works for mono as aftercare service provider is denying everything and telling me I need to pay for the implant to be moved but I have already paid £3300!! All they want is your money and then to ignore you afterwards this is their drs fault for not doing what he said and they have told me they will not put the matter right, why should I pay again when I have already paid!!! I have a very busy aesthetic business and I have girls constantly asking me where to go for surgery it’s such a shame they won’t put their wrongs right because they are loosing out on a lot of business from me!

My experience at Mono clinic with my mum was 10 out of 10, from the moment we have arrived till the very last day. I'm sorry for not remembering everyone's name but I would like to start by appreciating the driver's patience because couldn't speak the local language and we ended up in the wrong exit gate, but the driver was patient enough to make sure he would find us and takes us to the hotel and for being polite and friendly throughout the journey. I would like to say a massive thank you to everyone at the clinic for making this experience so joyful and much easier than I expected it. During my operation, the doctor and the nurse were really kind and communicative and that made the experience much easier, considering that I get nervous around nidles. ☺️ I would also like to say a massive thank you to Duru, Melike and Busra for supporting us from the very begging till the very last. Dealing with the paperwork, flights and everything else we need help with. If it wasn't for you guys I'm not sure we could have done it ourselves. I would definitely recommend Mono clinic 100%, and I'm looking forward to the second stage of our treatment. Thank you again to every single one of your team members. 🙏

This clinic cares only about taking your $$$... hear me out! Hi all, my experience with Mono clinic wasn't good at all, you send the info about what you like to be done through the nurse, then they confirm the price for procedures, you say ok but I would still feel more comfortable to see what the doctor's recommendations are and make changes accordingly. The nurse said "YES SURE", as long as you sign the digital form and proceed to payments immediately (RED FLAG 🚩). You arrive in Izmir and then you go straight to the clinic NOT for consultation but rather to fill out and sign more than 50 papers back and front, top and bottom, I however DIDN'T sign those papers because I didn't feel at ease. My consultation day came and then I asked the Dr. I only wanted small amount of work done nothing major and definitely nothing big, the Dr was UPSELLING! He suggested cat eyes, double chin (my face is skinny mind you) mid face lift or full face lift 🤯, he blew my mind and I said NO I'm fine thank you, I will NO longer do anything, thank you for your time. I then asked for refund, I understood that some of my refund will be gone, but to keep my full $600US deposit (burglars). They kept saying, we will look into it , but no one got back to me , the MONEY is GONE. And I'm glad for NOT using their services to conduct minor work on my face. Do Not Trust a clinic with non stop rotation of surgeons ....SCARY!!! Do not fall for what they say to you... STAY AWAY!!!🚫

I’m not sure if this is a legitimate company? I made an order. Chased for dispatch info and the customer services email was incorrect. Chased on social media and finally got a reply that promised correct customer services contacts and that my package was winging its way to me. Customer services email address is still wrong and now my order has been cancelled with no communication from that. At best this is terrible customer services, at what this company is taking customer money with no intention to supply or be contactable!
