Do you appreciate being treated like a human being? If so ...

So far my experience with Belvoir has been the most human I've had dealing with letting agents. Tracey that I met was so kind and helpful. The first contact I had was after enquiring about a flat and their response was clear and fair. Unlike other letting agents that demand personal documents before a viewing, they do not. They seem to respect the people they are dealing with as potential tenants seeking a home, and not just numbers they can exploit. I highly recommend trying them out. Honestly I have dealt with so many agents over the years and by far they are the best.

The worst of the worst

The worst of the worst. Bottom feeding lettings agent that tries to flog 5x8ft rooms with a sink for £175 a week. Absolute disgrace. All these agents and the landlords need to go to hell. The LL wants to profit from the weakest in society, and then the bottom-feeding estate agents want to make a profit on that, and this is how we come to a point where we're living in fishbowls for £200 a week. Too many scumbags who want to make a share in a scam.

tenant in Edinburgh

As a tenant in Edinburgh, our almost 2 year experience with belvoir has been dreadful to say the least. It wouldn’t be hard to say that I’ve met schoolchildren with more professionalism and honesty than the staff of belvior. Numerous complaints about the property will get ignored, looked over and require months of calls and emails to have something done no matter if the issue is dangerous or damaging to health. It’s quite obvious to see that the company has little to no care about anything but the money coming from the property and will do their best to keep their foot in the door scrounging off the income. When challenged upon their poor mannerisms and backtracking they will just brush over it as a little mistake. All this before I’ve even mentioned the demanding emails that seem very questionably legal. Don’t work with belvoir unless it is your very last choice and you have no issues with banging your head repeatedly against a wall.

Owned by a bank

Been advised that Belvoir is owned by a bank which says it all for me. Two months house was up-for-sale and only two people came to view it. One was a tyre kicker and the other hadn't even sold their own house. Complete waste of everyone's time if I'm honest.

Booked a viewing

Booked a viewing, went for the viewing after confirming and had to wait for 15-20 minutes in heavy rain( which is understandable as it was pouring, they might be late) and the worst thing is after the person who came to show us the house just entered through the entry gate and then went through the exit gate. No calls whatsoever and when asked about the same to the BIRMINGHAM office, the lady was not at all helpful. Pathetic pathetic service. I had told her I won't be seeing any more houses and she just cut the call on me.

Belvoir Sketty Swansea are incapable of…

Belvoir Sketty Swansea are incapable of arranging a 2nd viewing of a property. We’ve called five times and emailed them, alas no response. I wanted to contact the head office and “Kieran” informed me that the Sketty office is the head office of Belvoir UK, which is untrue. Still no contact from Belvoir. Avoid as they are unprofessional.

Poor communication and organisation

Belvoir in Swansea have extremely poor communication. Majority of the time I was having to chase people up with emails because no one was calling me back. They sent me to the wrong house to view! They did apologise and assured me that they’d email to reschedule with the right house. I never heard from them again though (no surprise really) I’d honestly recommend looking else where when selling or buying/renting because this estate agents can’t organise anything and they definitely won’t call you back!

Awful

Really disappointed in how they treated us throughout the buying and selling process. Dropped us in the middle of a sale and didn't even have the courtesy to tell us that they had done that.

Belvoir Cannock

Poor communication. Told us our keys were ready. When we got to belvoir the seller had not returned them. This was at 16.45pm on a Friday evening. The store closed at 5pm. There was no cut off for the seller to drop there keys either. Would not recommend.

Avoid belvoir Ipswich (rent)

Avoid at all costs - enables lawless landlords to make their tenants life a misery!! Allowed our landlord to not maintain the property but allowed him to increase rent several times with outstanding repairs Never helpful, no advice , rude !!!
