Not for me!
Would I recommend this agency as a tenant - No, never! Any issues I raised, were met with disbelief from the most noisy of airlocks in the toilet, to water literally running down the walls when it rained. They appear to like short tenancy agreements as it's a nice little earner for them, with each new tenant comes a new "agency fee" As a landlord, I can only go on the experience as a tenant, but they appear to do the best they can to keep you from paying out for repairs.
Terrible service
Never in my life have i dealt with anyone so unorganise. Every time i had a problem it would take months to fix it. We left after 3 years of being tenants and when we handed in the keys they said they would take off money and let us know how much we owe. Before they had even seen the property. We had pets in the property yet apparently they didnt give permission for however they inspected the gouse every 4-6 months s9 they knew fine well we did. I asked to be there when they carried out the final inspection yet they turned up an hour earlier. They are actually the worst people ive ever had to deal with. I would never recommend them to anyone.
Best company I've ever dealt with
They were so professional and really cared about their landlords and the tenants which is rare in many other lettings company. So happy I have had the opportunity to work with them.
Does this company still exist?
I've been trying to get in touch with an agent in the Cardiff branch for THREE MONTHS so I can take a look at a few properties. No reply from the branch itself, tried phoning but no answer, have gone through multiple customer service avenues just to be told 'your query has been passed onto the relevant branch.' - If this is how they treat everyone then it's an absolutely ridiculous disdain towards customers, and I wont be one of them (not from lack of trying).
Fantastic service
Belvoir camberley are the best company I have ever dealt with. Helped us rent a place within a week and any management is dealt with within a week. Always provides me with updates more or less daily when something is going on and checks in at least once a month when nothing is. 10/10
Pethetic Service At Peterborough Belvoir
Misterton court, Peterborough, pe2 5tq. we have a complaint to our letting agent regarding the dampness on our ceiling caused by potential leakage from the roof of the flat, its been more than three weeks but the landlord nor the letting agent has done anything, we have contacted the letting agents so many times but no help. We have decided to report this to Local Council and Environmental Health Department to ensure the landlord to take action to eliminate dampness.
Very Dissapointing
We have been landlords for 25+ years and built a letting agency up from scratch in 5 years and sold it for over £100K, so do have quite a bit of experience in residential lettings. We feel that we had a really poor service from the Bishop's Stortford Belvoir branch in November 2016, regarding a tenant find service, which fell through on the day of check in, which we are presuming Belvoir kept the full tenant deposit for, to compensate themselves. I know at least another agent in that town, that shares the deposit with the landlord when such a situation arises. I wondered what the Belvoir policy was? Following our frustrating time with Belvoir, we were away for 3 weeks in December and then busy over Christmas, and didn't really want to waste anymore of our time by going into a detailed complaint to Head office. I won't spend time going into details as I don't have time but want it to be known that we were not happy with Mr Nasif (the franchisee) for several reasons. All my conversations with Mr Nasif were by email, so if more details are desired by anyone, I can forward these emails to you, so you can see the type of service and problems we encountered. We ourselves will not be using Mr Nasif's services again, especially as there are so many other agents to choose from in Bishop's Stortford. I'm sharing this on many review sites as I wouldn't want anyone else to endure the frustration, loss of money and time using Belvoir Bishop's Stortford services. The franchisee was not interested in our frustrations and just kept blaming us for our outgoing tenant pestering him! We found the franchisee unable to manage or relate to people and made situations worse instead trying to resolve them.
expensive, disinterested, and rude
xpensive, disinterested, and rude
Absolutely Awful - DO NOT USE!
I recently sold a home through Belvoir Bournemouth and my recommendation is don't! Total lack of professionalism, amateur behaviour, failed to validate prospective buyers financial viability, sales staff lied to both me and the eventual buyer who did not want to deal with them directly requiring me to manage the whole sale process directly with the buyer. Became aggressive and uncontactable by the phone, demanding payment and threatened lawyers 5 minutes after completion. Failed to satisfactorily deal with complaints AVOID AT ALL COST
Unbelivable to treat customers this way
Belvoir have just taken over Steeles estate agents in Sheldon, Birmingham. As of the moment they took hold of the reigns to the company it went downhill with the following issues taking place. I contacted the office to ask what was happening to the sale of my property as I had received an offer under Steeles, which I accepted, but then all had gone quiet. I also did a visit to my property after a showing to find they had left the house UNLOCKED at the rear and left curtains and blinds open, even though they were instructed to close them after the showings. When I visited the office I was told that the original staff had left, and the new manager (Spencer) was now managing my account and they forwarded me his email details which I used to contact him with. After a week of no contact I then decided to visit the office, to which I was greeted by two ladies who were very polite, but could tell me nothing as they had no clue what was happening under the new management regime with the sales side of the business (oh and they had left my house unlocked yet again after a showing). I was then told someone would contact me on the Monday (17th Oct) as a matter of urgency but yet again no sign of any efforts to contact me. I again went to the office and this time asked for the keys to my property and insisted they removed my details and the 'For Sale' board from my home ASAP. Steeles were a fantastic company which my family always used to sell their homes, and with a week of buying the business Belvoir have managed to destroy it's reputation as I have now been told by other upset customers how bad they are.
