Belvoir is awful

Belvoir is awful. The two property managers I dealt with have no interest in helping tenants at all. They talk down to you, ignore your emails, don't let you know what's happening when you've reported an issue and all they seem to care about is getting their fees from the landlords. They could really do with injecting some humanity in their overly corporate, cold way of dealing with people. So very disappointing.

AVOID AT ALLL COSTS - please boycott

AVOID AT ALLL COSTS. ESPECIALLY FOR STUDENTS!!! I cannot express my frustration with Belvoir. They have cost me and my friends 100's of pounds because of their inability to do their job well. All landlords/agents try and make money from student housing but over my 5 years of being a student in Brighton they have taken the top spot for ripping us off. As a direct consequence of their team we have lost money on our deposit. they have misled us which has meant we cannot dispute this. They have taken weeks to do simple tasks, come into our property without warning, let a house which was unsafe/unclean. Leaving a review is the best thing I can do to warn people. Please do not use them.

BELVOIR BURNLEY

BELVOIR BURNLEY. - The place to go if you are after poor service. In my opinion the service from Belvoir Burnley is extremely poor, when it comes to POOR management and POOR customer service they are second to none. If you are a landlord PLEASE stay away from them and use an alternative agent, If you do use them more fool you as they will mislead you and give poor service then when you give notice because of the poor service they in my opinion purposely delay transferring documents to new agents then collect rents after the notice period, then charge you that full months rent for each property for moving, SHAME ON YOU Belvoir. Landlords if you use them best of luck as your going to need it, Tenants if you go for their properties again do not trust what the so called Managing Director Sagheer Akhtar says (he cant manage to do what he says, or manage to even call you back when promised) The staff there were very polite and helpful so this is not a reflection on all there, unfortunately that branch was taken over by someone who In my opinion does not care about his clients. its a shame the lowest star rating is one, if there was a minus rating I would have given him that. The property ombudsman needs to know about them. To reiterate do NOT use BELVOIR BURNLEY located at 300 Padiham Road Burnley !

Would not recommend

Belvoir have continually ignored our requests for maintenance upkeep. For months we have had broken appliances, overflowing drains, damp/mould, broken Wi-Fi/heating, etc. Despite the continuous calls and emails from us they have only been eager to respond when asking for an increase in our rent. For which they threatened to cut off our electricity and heating contract if we didn’t oblige. Many of our reports were never even logged by those we contacted, and we were continuously passed between employees, or sent to an ‘overflow’ line who were just as unhelpful. I would not recommend Belvoir, especially to students

Disability discrimination.

Disability discrimination. Refused to arrange a viewing on a property even though they had already confirmed the date that viewings were due to be taking place. As soon as they found out I have a disability, they changed what they said and said they would have to let me know about viewings. Then they lied and said viewings were already fully booked. They couldn't lie straight in bed. Cearly a company that hates and discrimates against people with disabilities. I have reported them to Trading Standards for investigation. Doubt they will carry out a thorough and proper investigation though as they should. Why are the Government allowing this. They should make sure businesses doing this are fully investigated and prosecuted.
