Terrible company
The service we have recieved from this company has been absolutely appalling. They took over some properties we let out through an estate agent due to buying out the practice. After previous bad experiences with belvoir we tried to leave them which they dragged out nearly 6 months. as well as telling outright lies about when tenants were moving out losing us rental income. The response rate of the office was appalling, one tenant moved out on the 5th of July, they notified us in august and then were unable to find the keys for 3 weeks. Its rediculous. I STRONGLY recommend anyone other than this company.
Belvoir Ipswich 👍
I rented from Belvoir Ipswich some time ago. The property was in terrific condition and any minor issues during my time at the property were resolved swiftly.
Great people !
I've not rented a property in over 20 years and was dreading the experience. Kerry and Clare from the Northwich office made this as painless as possible, kept in touch throughout, were extremely patient and professional and assisted me throughout the process. I used 4 other agents and they were the only ones who showed any professionalism in their service - would recommend! M Lawrence - Hartford
AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!!!
Earlier this year, I approached Belvoir West Derby branch in Liverpool for the sale of my property. During the sales process, I made a complaint due to poor service. Their way of resolving this was to provide PARTIAL service just because I'd made a complaint (despite going against the code of conduct The Property Ombudsman sets). They deserve a minus score, but sadly I can't leave a review without selecting any stars.
Liars,Cheats,Robbers,sloppy,incompetent.
Belvoir Leicester. The title of this review does not even come close to what Belvoir Leicester staff put us through in the 8 years we rented from them! Failure to complete repairs multiple times forcing us to get Oadby and wigston council involved 4 seperate times in 8 years including, Having to repair the cooker in the property ourselves. Failure to re-decorate after multiple floods in the property(leaving us with water damaged walls for over 2 years). Leaving us with tools and debris in the loft after carrying out a boiler replacement, including sharp metal cutting disks and huge off cuts of pipe with jagged edges, destroyed some stored familly items at the same time. Turning up at the property without 24hours notice harassing a familly member with mental health issues, inducing an accute anxiety attack and months of depression and anxiety all logged with our GP! Leaving us with windows we could not open due to rendering on the outside of building crumbling and fowling it up. windows we could not close and secure at all forcing us to not be able to leave the property unattended for over 6mths, huge 2 inch gaps in the windows, seals falling out of 70 percent of the windows in the propertry causiing rain to entering and rendering it impossible for us to have any belongings near windows or cills. They constantly lied and tried to blame it on us not allowing them access to quote or repair! I mean why would we report something that is having an ill effect on us then not allow entry seriously!?, they could not even be bothered to dream up a good lie. Thankfully at least one person has some integrity at Belvoir because they confirmed to the council we had allowed access 100 percent of the time with 24hrs notice. In the end Oadby and wigston council had to negotiate an early tenancy ending to get us out of a house that was not fit to live in. (all of which is logged with the above mentioned council and available for public access on request) And finally Belvoir lettings party trick the old lets try rob the deposit, becauce you no it just was not quite up to Belvoir form without was it?? All in all probably the worst experience in our lives thanks to Bhavna Odedra and her band of theives, crooks, liars and down right bullies.
What a joke
What a joke. Called 3 times for an urgent matter and you get put through to a call centre Everytime! Who just take a message and pass on on?!
Belvoir Northwich - Landlords Review
Belvoir Northwich - Having had a dreadful experience with Leaders Northwich I moved to Belvoir to manage the letting of my property and they were an absolute pleasure to work with. They sorted everything, were in constant communication, paid all monies due on time, and promptly provided a solution to every problem. They were proactive with organising trades people to complete legal obligations such as gas safety and electrical works, and managing repairs and maintenance. They always went above and beyond, liaising with the police & courts when criminal damage was caused, and even after my contract expired, due to selling the property, Christine organised Belvoirs' handyman to help with getting the property ready for sale. Thank you James, Christine, Kerry and Claire, I will recommend you whenever I can. It was a pleasure
Awful company DO NOT LET WITH THEM
Awful company, I let a property with the Basingstoke branch. They received fraudulent emails attempting to update my bank account details. They acted on these without contacting me to verify and sent the rent to the fraudulent account. When asked about this the director stated it was normal to update bank details without checking and 'what do you want us to do call everyone after an update? They then suggested that I had created the fraudulent account. Needless to say I'm cancelling my contract with them.
Belvoir Bolton. Avoid like the plague.
Where do I start? Belvoir was possibly one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. I moved into the property and it was grimey. Seen as though this is the first (and last!!) ever time renting I didn’t really question the state other than the fact the microwave didn’t work and oven was utterly filthy. The landlord was helpful with the microwave but nobody even bat an eyelid at my concerns regarding the oven. When I queried this I was greeted by Jaime with “are we still friends”. How pathetic. An apology but nothing to sort this problem out. Later on down the line I encountered a few other issues with the property. Two being lights in the bathroom had blown and the electricity box made an awful loud humming sound. Now usually, a light being blown I wouldn’t of queried but due to the height of the ceilings being something of which even Peter Crouch wouldn’t of been able to reach stood on a chair I had no other option but to ask them to solve this. They did to be fair to them, just 2 months late. This meant I was showering and doing my business in the pitch black. How delightful! Part of the agreement with me living there was I would be able to break out of my contract 6 months early due to waiting for another property. Roger is the person who I liaised with. Or as I know him, Roger the dodger. If I was to describe Roger, I would say he would make an excellent politician! Not because of his political knowledge, more so the fact he doesn’t know how to answer a single question posed to him. He took 2 weeks to re-list the property as he “had to wait for monies to clear”, yet the payment to move me in cleared straight away! Hmmm how bizarre… His emails take forever and a day to respond to and is just generally very very unhelpful. The advertisement stated that the property was available to move in beginning of the month as advised. But they lined someone up who wanted to move in a week into that. No issues from me. However, when I was threatened with the fact I had to give the keys back a week prior to my official agreement ending I was taken back. Now I had already moved out so wasn’t a problem. But to be told I wouldn’t receive a pro-rata refund for the days he wanted to “complete checks” is ridiculous. Apparently Roger the dodger was doing me a favour! How on earth are you doing me a favour when I’ve had to pay re-listing fees!!!! I’ve allowed you to secure a new tenant for a lot longer time than me (oh and put the new price up so extra money!). Here’s where things turn even more sour. I was greeted with a deposit issue. Belvoir the scam artists wanted to take money out of my deposit because of the one million issues I left them with! Apparently the place was utterly filthy. Upon inspection I was told by the dodger that it “was fine”. Why now there was issues I will never know. What were these issues? Were the windows smashed? Were there holes in the walls? Floor boards ripped up?! No. A bit of dust on the skirting board. Well. Roger didn’t care did he. Not only had he forced me to hand the keys back early he had the audacity to ask for money from MY DEPOSIT. Given the state of the place it was given to me, did the previous tenant get fined for that? “I don’t know” he replies. Considering you’re the main point of contact within this tinpot organisation, you don’t know a lot do you? He also tried to charge me for another days rent! This was to accommodate the new tenant as they had asked to move in later. Is the circus in town? Because I think I’ve just spotted a clown! After arguing my case, he backed down and said I can have my deposit back but I would not be entitled to any pro-rata refund. To summarise: - Roger The Dodger, great politician cannot answer a question given to him. - Jaime, tries to be useful but doesn’t have a clue what she’s doing. Rather be sat playing with her nails looking out the window. - Jen. Superb. Give that woman a pay rise. She is the only credible person who works there. Avoid renting. It’s a con. Belvoir is a tinpot organisation which is a leach for your money and cannot provide a service. Avoid like the plague. Thank you.
A Jewel In the Crown
A Jewel In the Crown! 5***** Belvoir Hitchin - Platinum Business & Platinum People! I just wish I’d gone there first! I had previously contracted the sale of my house with another recognised estate agent with a nationwide network. After 6 months of being catastrophically let down, mislead & stressed by (I could write a book on), I researched & found reviews for Belvoir (Hitchin). I should have researched better in the first instance! I can’t speak more highly of John & Jan, Stuart & the Hitchin branch. Viewings were in abundance, but importantly they were quality viewings with appropriately matched buyers who were also equally financially matched, no timewasters. The property was marketed & photographed at a higher standard than any other estate agent that I’d used, seen, or reviewed. The property was a part-ownership, which complicated things, but John & Jan made so very uncomplicated! Clarity in communication, regular updates, the highest levels of professionalism & management. Helping to select a preferred conveyancer, making things much easier. They went above and beyond! This help & service extended to the buyer, which believe me makes it much easier. The house sale was agreed in under 10 DAYS! This service was consistent from day one to handing the keys over! If you want to sell your property with honest, professional, more than helpful and genuinely nice people (which in this profession is a rarity) look no further, save yourself time, money, and hassle. Whilst managing this sale, my mother passed away, being so impressed with them I asked them to sell her house also. Again & true to form and previous experience they again did the same selling in just over 7 days. Nearing completion they have proved yet again why they are such amazing estate agent. Remember they were selling two properties, double the work, but never failing in service and effectiveness. A truly efficient excellent business & equally as important genuine kind thoughtful people! 5**** I just wish I’d gone there first!
