Absolutely Descusting
Absolutely Descusting The Day I moved in flat was descuting mouldy and dirty But moved in anyway after deep cleaning Reported the windows were leaking (I mean water gushing in when it rained!) Took them 6months to get them fixed (kept sending the window man to the wrong address) Also had doggie electrics! Electricity report said poor and unstable electrics! and No fire alarms ! They come round to inspect property every 3months wrote down all the problems yet non were ever done (apart from the window eventually) 1year and half later enough was enough So decided to move out. The estate agent sent numerous people round to view flat and they were all under the impression I would show them round This was never arranged with me and I would never of agreed 2 anything of the sort as I am on the autistic spectrum and struggle with socialising and anxiety (they were also made fully aware of my condition.) When then my mum complained about this after so many knocks on the door they turned round and said well its along way for them to come from the office when alot of people don't turn up alot of the time and that i was there anyway so they didn't seem to see any problem. And now to hold my deposit back as the bushes havnt been trimmed enough? I mean what?! The place was a complete disgrace when I moved in overgrown bushes , broken blinds and broken cupboards the list goes on and on and on..... And now they are complaining I haven't cut the bushes properly I mean really what a joke I normally tryed not to read to much in to bad reviews before but they seriously need 2 sort them selves out Also in my early stages of pregnancy they what do they expect me 2 go out with a chainsaw and cut it in half, they sure would of moaned then (I trimmed the bushes with caution as I thought they wouldn't like it if I cut too much off )
Belvoir Peterborough - Excellent
The Peterborough team have been extremely helpful and professional all the way from when I purchased the property with them to fully managing it on my behalf. They have been fantastic at minimising the input required from me as a landlord, whilst remaining fair to the tenants and reacting quickly to any issues that arise. I would highly recommend anyone use them.
Good experience at Belvoir Nottingham…
Good experience at Belvoir Nottingham with letting agent Claudia. Have been transparent with the terms, patiently explained the letting details, and took us for the viewings. Highly recommended. Appreciate Claudia whom we interacted with.
Belvoir Luton
Thank you Adrian, Rees and Margarate for all of your assistance in helping us get our new property. The process was smooth and seamless, instructions was made very clear from day 1 making our process enjoyable actually. We never had to chase for any information as Belvoir are on the ball! Thank you all so much i highly reccomend Belvoir Luton!
ABSOLUTE LEGEND ……..
We found Alex Round at Belvoir Cannock to be very friendly, helpful, polite and patient. He made everything easy and stress free when it came to us leaving the property. He went above and beyond when it came to refunding our deposit. We were expecting something to be deducted as we hadn’t had time to tidy the garden, but he refunded in full! If we were still living in that part of the country, we wouldn’t hesitate using him again. Really happy with the service he gave.
Highly recommend!
Cannot recommend enough, Wendy and her team for the fantastic job they did in letting my house. Very professional at all times, absolute first class!!
Unfortunately we had a bad experience…
Unfortunately we had a bad experience with this agency, and I would like to give a heads up to others who are looking to rent through them.I know how difficult is when you find a house you like but at least you can be more careful than us. So we were renting property for 4 years, had just regular 6m checks which were fine, however landlord was involved from the beginning,we had to meet him,ask him permission for literally everywhere. At the end he asked us to leave the house in one way and agency did the worst report possible to make money out for both I presume. We feel completely betrayed and frauded. It is a long story to write so I won't go in details .We had to pay for things we were told to leave in the way we did and never got a chance to fix things how they wanted. They are just money, money, money! No humanity, not listening, just strictly by the book and making money in their and landlords interest. So, if you ever have to rent property through them, do everything by the contract, report every single bit and don't let landlord be involved in anything! Don't let them take your hard earned money for lie's ! Good luck
Worst people on the planet earth
Worst people on the planet earth. Non professional and extremely rude (if you are from non-white background). It's better to be homeless instead of renting home from these people. Also they lack basic skills of business communication (agent won't attend your call or reply to your texts). 1 star is just too much, they deserve minus 10.
Avoid at all costs
Me and five other working professionals rented a property for a year with Belvoir lettings. Prior to moving in to the property a number of upgrades to the property were assured to us such as new carpets and painted walls - move in day came around and none of this had been done and the house was full of workmen, a very stressful day for us all as a result. My mattress was covered in blood - you can imagine the shock when I arrived. Throughout our tenancy with Belvoir we have repeatedly been referred to as students - we are not students and the fact they couldn’t take the care to note that down after correcting them half a dozen times is quite sad really and sets the tone for the customer service you’ll receive with Belvoir. A few key incidents of our tenancy that were extremely stressful for us at the hands of Belvoir include a set of our keys being left on our doorstep for the world to see/take whilst none of us were at home. 3/6 housemates complained and it was only when my father rang and repeated exactly what we had said were the locks changed. We had a gas leak that a certified engineer said was extremely dangerous and all gas had to be immediately switched off - Initially Belvoir refused to send anyone to the property or acknowledge the serious nature of the leak. Hours was spent calling the company for us to be told as it was a Saturday and they wanted to do arranged viewings we weren’t a priority - we had a gas leak which had already made one housemate unwell! It was only when one of our parents spoke with the manager was Langton sent to the property - no apology was provided either by Langton when he arrived at the property. We constantly had work men/people arranged by Belvoir turning up without any notice, it was only after I rang them multiple times and said as a house of six girls we were no longer prepared to let people in without the legal required notice as you never know what could happen/who someone could be. Any random man could turn up and ask for access- you need to give us notice. Funnily enough; the people taking over the property were shown around by me after a letting agent failed to turn up for their viewing and I felt bad that they had come all this way. I can’t say I was thrilled by this but I didn’t feel it was fair for them to suffer as we had. Perhaps I should have charged them for doing their job? Getting our deposit back has been a constant battle. Never have I felt someone be so disengaged as I did when speaking with Lottie. We were told multiple times by multiple people our checkout report had been sent/would be sent - it hasn’t been and all we’ve done is chase, chase, chase. FINALLY the report has arrived and the deductions are laughable and we’ve been battling with them back and forth, wasting even more of our time. The report had been sent and bounced back, after we reported having not received it multiple times it they informed us of this - you receive emails when something bounces back, it’s just lazy and careless not to resend the email straight away. Renting with Belvoir has been a constant battle to be treated with basic respect. I felt they were disengaged, had a lack of care or interest and only took things seriously when our parents became involved. Renting with them was detrimental to our mental health, the stress this company has caused us I have never experienced in all my years of renting. As a HMO we were extremely good tenants and even received an email stating how nice it was to have the property be given back in such a clean condition. If it wasn’t for the lack of customer care, the property itself was nice and we would have stayed but to be disregarded and treated this way caused us a lot of stress and anxiety. I will say, the mistakes above were rectified eventually - but only after constant battles of emails and phone calls . Save your money, time and stress levels and rent with a reputable agency who won’t try and fleece you. I don’t know if we weren’t taken seriously because of our ages or gender, but whenever an older male became involved, things suddenly became more important to Belvoir and we ended up getting a response which was really demoralising and difficult for us to process. The deductions for our deposit were outrageous and insulting considering we had evidence that damage caused was a result of incorrect work performed by their workmen - which seemed to be the standard throughout renting with belvoir.
Incredibly rude and unprofessional…
Incredibly rude and unprofessional staff. Called me only to give me verbal abuse. I left a review stating this and she replied to it being just as rude and impolite. So 0 if possible, what a disgusting way to conduct business. Not one question just shouting straight away, didn't want to speak or enquire what happened.
