Belvoir......then beware tenants ...!!
They should rename themselves as beware from Belvoir ...!!! To the tenants atleast that's what they truly are ...tenants stay clear of these jokers as they are biased towards the landlord and will make every possible effort to rob you off your deposit , Coventry central especially ,they are efficient when it comes to stealing your hard earned money . Keep each and every record on paper and get everything signed off as these jokers will change statements even on email communications. Rented a property with them for 4 years with little or no maintenance from their maintainance team as well as the landlord ( the landlord used DIY or makeshift fixes on complaints or issues that developed in the property that were shambolic to say the least ) . On ending the tenancy , for having stayed for 4 years with two kids aged 3 and a newborn at the time of start of tenancy,Belvoir is trying to raise ridiculous issues which at the time of vacating the premises such as holes due to door handles digging in walls and absolutely no allowance for reasonable wear and tear . They have raised issues which were never raised during their quarterly inspections and wen questioned about it there was a different account of quarterly inspections rules laid out to support the siphoning of deposit amount . Taking this up with the Tenancy deposit scheme
Had to threaten legal action to get this bunch to return my holding deposit.
Belvoir Hereford is undoubtedly the worst property agency I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. Firstly, try to get a viewing but don't hold your breath, this company sets out to rob tenants of their holding deposits despite the fact that this is now illegal. They force coercive contracts and demand tenants pay a holding deposit before they will run their credit checks, and once they have your deposit you will have a fight on your hands to get it back, as they will use any excuse to keep your money. I was refused a place because I had a driving offence on my record dating back to 2017, and I only got my holding deposit back because I know the Law and am an experienced litigator. I suspect many never see their deposits returned. Beware and stay well clear of this bunch if you value your money and your sanity. And, it appears the whole company reflects this same attitude across the whole franchise, hence their deservedly 'poor' rating at just 2.2 stars.
Money sucking
I had rented with the Birmingham branch, and had a terrible experience, when I needed help they intentionally put me in a terrible situation so I had to overpay without option. Stay away forever.
Manchester branch What a shambolic…
Manchester branch What a shambolic agency nothing but trouble They don’t repair things had a bathroom radiator hanging off for six months took over a year to fix front door then after one tennant moved out and another moved they didn’t change the names in the tenancy then seven months later served with a eviction as she hadn’t passed credit checks and should not of been allowed to move in after having left letters threatening us with court action for not moving and not handing keys back even though we had they then apologised and said it was a error stay well clear of them
Basically stole my deposit money when I…
Basically stole my deposit money when I moved out as nothing was wrong with the property I left it how I moved in. They tried to charge me for someone leaving a fridge freezer outside of the apartment building. Even though I showed evidence I have mine in storage. They have cctv so why didn’t they bother to check. They never repaired things. Took them 3/4 months to get my bath plug reported. My only option was to splash water over myself with a bucket.

We found Lewis at Belvoir Colchester to be very friendly, helpful, polite and patient. He made everything easy and stress free - from initially meeting us when we viewed the property to when we moved in! Great guy! And very happy
Bias towards the landlord, unprofessional handling
I had been renting with Belwoir Welwyn from July21 to June22. What was agreed prior the rental was not done. I received a stinking property, which had been reported and addressed 1 month after only. Later issues reported have never been fixed so been left with no adequate bathing facilities. There was an inch gap in the door which never been fixed. They sent random people to look at the property (with the intent of fixing), but done little to no repairs. When raised on the agencies portal, tickets have been closed without resolution, so I had to email them, so I have proof about all the problem I raised on the portal. To top this off I reminded them on multiple occasion that this is the landlords legal obligation and our rights as the tenants were never represented. At checkout they were expecting us to do the repairs (they failed to do) and pay for items they removed (as they failed to to keep proper books). Letting Agent Lisa Green (arrogant ...) To anybody who's renting with Belvoir I recommend to keep books on all agreements and issues raised, as they are not gentleman who keep to their words and certainly don't encourage trust. Like sharing personal information without informing me.
Belvoir kettering
Belvoir took over our tenancy agreement during our time in our property. A helpful team of people, our deposit was lost by our previous landlord but belvoir made good at their expense. Very impressed.
I rented out my property in Dunstable…
I rented out my property in Dunstable Bedfordshire, with Daniel. First tenants ok with rent on time, but when they left,it was clear for overcrowding with evidence of a bed in the Kitchen (Studio Apartment). Next tenant stop paying rent because of covid,he was of furlough but, thought he did not have to pay rent. I could not evict due to new rules, but when i could ,i got the keys back. The tenant had no previous rentals but was accepted ,and i paid for this privilege ,he was a mummy's boy, and his parents moved to Spain. Daniel told me many times that i would receive some payments but nothing. While painting the property ,mail from other people arrived, I also had a Spanish guy who was illegally subletting coming to the door looking for mail. To date i am owed around £3000,but belvoir are not interested. I truly thought i had found a decent agent, in Dunstable, but it seems a hard task
RUDE!
RUDE!! Belvoir Basingstoke have caused me anxiety, were rude regarding the communal door key to my flat when I first moved in, made judgemental comments after a recent property check saying that perhaps I need somewhere bigger! They tried to charge me for a toilet block issue due to the loo blue that hangs on the side of the toilet accidently being flushed down the toilet. Luckily my landlord sorted it out without an issue. They started asking me who stays and when!! None of their business as I made my landlord aware that my partner stays. I will never use them again!!!
