I've dealt with a lot of estate agents over the years with mixed experience. We chose Belvoir Basingstoke because we liked their approach. Firstly they LISTENED to what we said rather than ram scare tactic sales techniques down our throats, something I cannot say about another agent we asked to value. Second their staff were always courteous and treated us with respect. You'd think that would go without saying, but not always the case! Third they gave honest advice about a realistic market price. Belvoir took excellent property photos and did not charge an extra fee, unlike competitors. They marketed well on the internet portals - again for no extra fee. Jon dealt with everything from valuation to offer acceptance and it then passed to Jamie. Throughout we were given weekly updates even if there was nothing much to report. I really recommend this agency for their professional 'modern' approach. Even though we could not instruct for several weeks after valuation, Jon did not use scare tactics to try to force our hand to sign up but understood our circumstances and he did keep us updated with useful email updates on market trends until we were in a position to formally sign up and market. Jamie chased solicitors during the process of offer to completion and also gave weekly updates so we were never left in the dark. Thank you to everyone at Belvoir Basingstoke!

Called to view a house for a 2 year contract. Told it was still available and they would ring back with a viewing time. No response had to call back 48 hours later to find out when I could view only to be told it had been let. Will be looking for a proprty with another company............do not deal with them

Terrible service

Absolute scammers. Do not give these people any money, they are refusing to return my deposit after breach of contract. Make excuses, and lie about getting the flat ready. Full of black mould, dirt and now refusing to return my money. Keep changing between 2 company names. Shayan, Roberto, Natalia and Paris. Awful liars, with a nice dose of rudeness. Now taking legal action, informing council and media.

Appalling experience, I am happy that it did happen before renting. A viewing was arranged with someone with Gmail account, I went to see the flat and waited for 20 minutes, no call no apologies nothing. I called the agent and after 5 attempts I managed to speak with a guys called Huseyin Nasif who said there was another appointment and he could only reschedule the viewing for next week. I wonder why the property is available since October.

Rented my first apartment from Belvoir and took very good care of it. Throughout the whole time living there repairs were not done for a long time, building was in bad shape and was ignored a lot. When moving out everything was how I moved in yet I lost some of my deposit and it took a long time for me to get any of it back

Spoke to Sue at the Sleaford office three times regarding a property I wanted to view in Quarrington. Promised a call back everytime, she never did!. I feel sorry for the landlord who has trusted this company to find him tenants. The property will never be let if potential tenants are constantly ignored. We have now found a perfect property with another estate agent, we viewed it, did all the paperwork and was given a moving in date, all this was done within three days....Take note Belvoir!!

Absolutely disgusting letting agency! The owner of the Tynedale Hexham franchise John Redden canceled or more fittingly stole our viewing slot and give it to "someone else from our file"! When I telephoned to complain the owners attitude on the telephone was appaling, argumentative and at times offensive. When I challanged that this was wrong & unfair I was rudely told he "didn't have to please anyone, only his landlords!" This man is the single worst person I have ever spoken to on the telephone and to underhandedly rob myself, girlfriend and 4 children of a viewing which was arranged days earlier I am lost for words. This agency operste unfairly and clearly have certain people in mind for there properties. They have a very poor review score online and deservedly so. I will never ever again look at or view a Belview property and if you are reading this review I strongly advise against giving this terrible company your time or effort.

Without question the Worst lettings agent in the UK! 5 years of paying my rent on time without fail...still spoken to and treated like dirt by Belvoir Wolverhampton staff. They have a total lack of customer service or even basic manners! Under no circumstances ever rent a property from this company. Just read the reviews! Avoid Belvoir at all costs! I do not pay my rent to treated like a serf! The way the staff act is like they are your betters! Lord of the Manor etc! Disgusting! This is me and my money walking away from this despicable company. I will rent from a company that treats their customers with respect! Absolute Scum!

If you want get your deposit back, don't rent from these agency. Doesn't matter how good you look after house and how you will clean it after you decide move out, they will find something to not give back your money.
