Must be the most sluggish estate agent on the street

2 days to offer a viewing. 4 days to update the file that offer was accepted. After 9 days no memorandum of sale After 9 days still not informed of vendors solicitor.. This company is obsessed with getting kickbacks from solicitors. Expediting the sale of houses does not seem to be on the agenda. I was a cash buyer seeking a fast completion. After waiting 9 days for Belvoir to get their act together, I gave up and bought a property through a local agent. The local agent (Lovettts) went from enquiry to memorandum of sale in less than 7 hours, and I understand that they are significantly cheaper than Belvoir. They created none of the unnecessary administrative hurdles and obfuscations of Belvoir. The vendor lost his sale because he appointed a completely unprofessional estate agent.

Very bad

Very bad customer services and very bad property mold human poo on the stairs drug addicts and homeless people sleeping in the building needles and rubbish in the car park and fire escape no access to utility room for electricity meter the try and charge you if you want to get a reading cause I never paid them £175 to renew my tenancy agreement they put charges on everything they could then they hit me with charges like £65 to clean an oven £165 to paint 4 walls then £25 to clean the shower plus £50.80 vat then on top of that check out fee £90 so £394 to move out a property I could go on wish I could add pictures to this review cause go pictures of the lot

Shocking letting agent

Shocking letting agent, providing wrong information then charging £300+ for their mistakes! Been a tenant with Belvoir for over 8 months, reached out to our letting agent to ask if they would be able to advertise the flat early as my partner and I were looking to buy a house, and naturally could not afford to pay rent and a mortgage at the same time so got in touch to see if they would be able to help. They responded by stating that our fixed term ended in early September and that they would take this as our notice to leave. Following this I chased 3 times over the following month to confirm that they were certain that this was the case and again it was confirmed that our last rent payment is due in August and that we will need to cover all the bills etc until the 11th September. As this was confirmed to us multiple times by the Letting agent we proceeded with our house purchase that will complete in line with the end of tenancy that they told us. Now a month later again, we get an email out of the blue that now they have actually reviewed things that we our tenancy now ends in November not September like they stated twice before even when chased for clarity. On top of this they have suddenly come up with \"£300 relet charge fee\" so that they can start marketing the property early, which is not mentioned anywhere in any agreements so attempting to \"bend us over a barrel\". Since they have realised there monumental mistake, which has potentially put us into a big financial situation, and we have attempted to further communicate with them once again they have fallen back into form of not responding. I appreciate that mistakes can be made, but instead of owning the mistake and try to work with us to come up with a solution then I would have been happy to give them 5 stars as their maintenance team have been brilliant. But instead they haven\'t acknowledged the mistake that they made, nor even apologised, but thrown us a bill for £300 which is not written in any agreements and not even attempted to open a dialogue on finding a solution. I am extremely disappointed with Belvoir and hopefully this comes to a happy resolution, but given the current course I am not holding my breath.

Sheerness swale belvoir are disgusting…

Sheerness swale belvoir are disgusting vile people! Michael who works there is a massive liar and a witch called Caron who has a vile attitude and has a bad habit on putting the phone down on you. We bought a house through these. The house had a mouse infestation, and in our contract it states the house has to be clean and acceptable for us to move in. I got my solicitor to get the seller to have pest control come out and fix the problem. I asked this Michael for proof. I never got it. I asked him has it been dealt, all the mice holes filled in etc, as I have a 3 year old I want it safe and no poison about. He said yes the seller had someone out to do it. Yes the holes are filled etc. And that he went to the house and didn’t see any traces of the mice anymore. We went to the house today, Mice crap and urine everywhere. Black mould. Mice in the loft as well we found out! holes everywhere still not filled in. Widow infestation! We took up some floor boards because the house stinks, and there’s dead rats and mice under the floor boards and nests. We wish we didn’t buy this place now!! All they did was put a couple of traps down. Traps that could break my little boys fingers! these scum bags do not even care that I have a bubba. and on top of this, they was calling me near everyday harassing me. the amount of stress these people caused. Michael said the boiler works, but it doesn’t. So that’s another cost we didn’t expect. that Caron called me asking me how much money I have in my bank even though she has no right to ask me that. I didn’t tell her so she hung up on me, then she got her husband peter to call me even though he has nothing to do with this! What a complete weirdo! leather face witch! Heartless scum bags!!!!!

Belvoir Spalding !

Belvoir Spalding !! Was huge mistake to rent flat from this company !!!!!!!! We live 3 months and already they came 4 times to check doors, when supposed to chech everything before qe moved. 3 doors doesn't shut down propertly, and one shuts down with all strenth that can cut or broken your fingers.. still didn't fixed, they just came, took lphotos .. 2 windows can not be open, buzz not working, mould was painted on.. All that doesn't care for them... done inspection after three monts and I have massage table, because I attend to work in salon and do face treatment, when he so, inspector said I running bussines, I tried to explain, that it is just practise before my job, I am not taking any money, and it this just for 2 friends, but no one listening, just spoke over me, didn't let me speak, was arrogant, unprofesion, and rude.. he even said they will suit me if still I will do practise for my work, even it is for free, he said it is a problem that my friend comes to the property.. He gave me to understand that friends is not allowd in the property !! Never again, as soon I will find any other property I will move out, I regret that I didn't read any reviews before of this company.. never again

Avoid! Stirling branch

Avoid! Clearly couldn't care less about tenants and just want their money. Constant requests for fixes were replied with empty promises or just straight up ignored. The flat was damp and not up to living standard. Boiler broke during winter and took 4 weeks to fix with minimal contact. They ignored requests to reduce rent during this time despite multiple calls and emails. Would recommend going anywhere else above Belvoir - avoid at all costs.

Dont go for Belvoir at all they are not worth it

Hi I would like to mention a review comment for this organisation as I had been harassed and tortured by your executives. Firstly they communicated in a very arrogant manner they didnt even allowed us to speak while communicating with us. Instead they charged us for being impatient. Despite of providing them all the documents they were so rude to us and didnt gave us where exactly we missed anything. They have even taken our 300£ deposit. Which is highly unfaithful

were told a complete lie and a very pass the book type of service. I had arranged to view a property on the Friday , then it seems as if the landlord had taken it back by the Monday. Not saying its impossible but I found that the rent of 475 which were quoted by belvoir , had been totally different from what had been advertised. Maybe the landlord could not get the rent that he were looking for ! but I noticed with certain letting agents they rope you in with a certain quote , then on your signing agreement it states something completely different. But as I'd been adamant about the rent amount , it appears that they were totally aware. Maybe that's why they cancelled ? saves my time and theirs in all due respect !

I seriously advise you not to deal with them. Their speciality is to charge you a lot for every little thing but when it comes to services they are absolutely unreliable, don't care about the problems that arise and really take their time dealing with issues. The boiler broke down in our property in the middle of winter; we were left with no hot water or heating for a long time. Even though they were fully aware of the problem and how cold the property was, and there were temporary solutions that they could have put in place, they really took their time dealing with it. Unbelievable!
