A huge thank you to Charlotte and…

A huge thank you to Charlotte and Jessica from Belvoir at Telford. They went above and beyond to keep us informed and get us through the exchange and complete process on a really tight deadline. They literally moved mountains to get us in on the date we wanted.

Nothing but awful management!

Nothing but awful management! I asked for my windows to be repaired after 3 years of suffering with freezing temperatures and when they finally sent someone out (Yes it literally took them three years) they gave me a section 21 as they convinced the Landlord it was easier to turf me out than to actually fix the windows after they finally did an assessment. When questioned about the section 21, they said that it was Belvoir have put up a 'to let' sign. So they obviously lied. The property was absolutely disgusting when I moved in, it hadn't been cleaned and had only been painted. The front door was hanging off, the floor was poorly tiled so kept sticking to mine and my cats feet. Infested with flour beetles and silverfish. Was consistently gaslit by Penny and Alex claiming it was all the Landlord, when in reality it was Belvoir sending out the cheapest cowboys. I had their section 21 assessed by Citizens Advice and found it wasn't actually a legal one due to a number of missing documents they never legally supplied to me and that if taken to court it would be thrown out but I have opted to move due to how much I hate this property and it's 'Management'. Quick to take your money and demand rent increases, but will never help you or do the repairs needed. AVOID AVOID. Unprofessional. The worst agents I have ever dealt with.

LEAMINGTON BELVOIR IS EXTREMELY DISGUSTING!!

I advise anyone wanting to rent or do business with this Agency not to waste their time. Of all the agencies I've used this is the worst!! 😭😭. They have untruthful habits, rude on the phone and emails. I complained to the Manager about a Maintenance employee who was rude to me and she responded saying she was professional. Absolutely no customer focus and courtesy. They held half of my deposit with unverified claims which I did not agree to. Reading through all these terrible review experience by others too, I should have been responsible and reported them to the police and council to shut them down. Disgusting Agency.

They twist and withhold information. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Avoid at all costs!!!! They will do absolutely anything to push a sale through even lying to their clients! They are completely unorganised and UNTRUSTWORTHY! Me and my partner are first time buyers and we’re interested in an apartment in the city centre (Sheffield). We tried to arrange a viewing where the first time they just didn’t turn up because they booked us in for the wrong property and the second time they didn’t have the keys (both times we booked almost a week in advance and taken time of work). When we decided to move ahead with the property as soon as we got past the stage of paying the solicitors, paperwork came through and we found out the property had been on the market for three years !!!!!! But it had been advertised as three MONTHS on the Belvoir website! We would NOT have touched the property if we had known that it had not been sold for three years! We were wanting to sell it again in a few years and if it was on the market for 3 years with no interest then this is alarming! When we asked Belvoir why the paperwork said 3 years they said it was true, it was up for 3 years then they briefly took it down for a month so they could repost it (basically refresh the feed to try to get more interest) FALSE ADVERTISING!!! SO DECEIVING and ABSOLUTELY HORRENDOUS RESPONSE after. I then asked what the price they had been advertising the property for the last 3 years was and in response they said they didn’t know!? How can they NOT KNOW? …. They should have all the paperwork there?- GO AND FIND IT! SO UNORGANISED and gave us a horrific experience as first time buyers. As a first time buyer you want to be able to trust the people you are dealing with. Buying a property is a daunting thing as it is but it should be an enjoyable process… Belvoir twist and withhold information just so it benefits them. We lost money from having to pay the solicitors for the work they had completed up until that point and we pulled out the deal. Not a CHANCE do we trust anything or any information Belvoir provide us with.

Avoid Belvoir Guildford

Avoid Belvoir Guildford Avoid using this agency at all cost, they are extremely rude, arrogant and use bullish tactics by shouting and threating behaviour when raising any issues with them. Upon moving the place was unclean, urine stains on toilet seat, blinds don't work and close to falling down, disgusting smell coming from the place. Smoke alarms turned off. When contacted they were not accused me of making issues up and disregarded them. I even sent pictures and yet no response. They are clearly interested in the extortionate rent they charge and not dealing with any issues. Unwilling to provide any assistance and when I called them Glenn started shouting and becoming very abusive. Maintenance team are incompetent, arranged a visit and did not turn up and no form of apology , very unprofessional. There is no escalation process and Glen (the arrogant, self-centered man) deals with the complaints. Worse agency I've ever used, they are extremely polite and helpful before the contract is signed but afterward you end up seeing the abusive, arrogant and rude side of this agency. Please avoid at all cost

Incompetent

I have been experiencing multiple issues with my rented property. I have complained about certain aspects of the house that have not been consistently addressed for two years, but nothing has been done about it. They take their time in fixing issues and I have to contact them repeatedly to ensure they are doing the repairs I ask for. When I spoke to my landlord about the problems, he had not been made aware of it by the letting agents. I have given up trying to sort out minor repairs as they don't listen or take any action. No matter how many times I file a report, they remove it and say it has been sorted when it hasn't. While they do take care of severe problems promptly, their ignorance towards the inconveniences we endure on a daily basis is not acceptable.

Bungalow of our dreams.

We have been looking for a long while for the bungalow of our dreams, and Peter Dalton of Belvoir Hitchin helped us find it. Peter and John are also working together to Sell our house and we have been very impressed with their commitment, courtesy and friendly attitude. The office staff are also exceptional. Everyone in the office makes great efforts to ensure that every query or request however small is dealt with quickly. If you have tried others and been disappointed then try Belvoir and be amazed.

Belvoir Kettering Are Con Merchants

I've rented a flat from Belvoir for a few years now and it's been nothing but headaches and lies. The women in the office will lie to your face and even make laws up as they go along. This company regardless of where the individual offices are located only seem to hire highly untruthful and deceitful people. They put the rent up by such a degree that financially I am literally hanging on by my finger nails, They are vile and despicable people.

Terrible

Terrible. Woman on the phone was extremely rude and off putting I would advise managers to be reviewing there calls and educating them on basic customer service Estate agents don’t know basic answers to viewers questions and have no knowledge of the properties they’re showing I would avoid at all costs ever listing a property with them and avoid using them to find a property as they don’t have a clue what they’re doing
